130 mm/50 B7 Pattern 1913
Hi there. Re. 130 mm/55 B7 Pattern 1913, thanks for translating and adding that.
- I noticed that the talk page here had an excessive list of categories, because of all the blank parameters which I removed with this edit.
- Also, when translating from another language Misplaced Pages, you should note on the talk page where it has come from - and you need to 'point' to the specific version that you translated from, on the other wiki. In this case, I have added the following code;
{{translated page|ru|130-мм корабельная пушка образца 1913 года (Б-7)|version=23173445}}
- I made the assumption that the latest version was the one you used - please correct it if necessary.
- There is more information on this in Misplaced Pages:Translation#How to translate.
- I hope this helps; thanks again. Chzz ► 11:05, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for that! --Dodo19 (talk) 11:07, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

- Sorry, wasn't aware I changed any conversions, but I will check! --Dodo19 (talk) 08:28, 23 March 2010 (UTC) P.S.: I hope I got them all. Sorry again!

Reported for 3RR
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. //Jaan Pärn (talk) 15:53, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Maginot
Thanks for reviewing all those Maginot articles! They're showing up as starts, though, even though you appear to have intended them as B's. Acroterion (talk) 14:18, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- Check category:B-Class fortifications articles. In the template it should say "class=start" and when then the five B-class are ticked "yes" it will be show the green B in the box. --Dodo19 (talk) 14:29, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- It does show as B, in the category and talkpage. I've figured it out - I have Pyrospirit's metadata extension installed, which shows the article title in the corresponding color, and it looks at that "start" field and sees it as start, regardless of the other criteria. If it was B, the article name would turn green (if you don't have it installed, the article title is black), so the extension is confused by that field. See your preferences/gadgets/ Display an assessment of an article's quality as part of the page header for each article. (documentation). No big deal, I was just tryng to understand the inconsistency in how it displayed. Thanks for looking at all those holes in the ground! Acroterion (talk) 14:36, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- Pleasure - Maybe you could drop a line at Template talk:WPMILHIST about your problem, since I have not the foggiest idea what is going on! --Dodo19 (talk) 14:40, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- No problem, it's a display/script issue in my configuration, I can work through it. Carry on! Acroterion (talk) 14:42, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

Battle of Yassıçemen
Hi, On 15 June you have included two battles in the Ottoman task force of the Military history. To be sure, Battle of Çıldır (in 1578) was a battle of Ottomans. But Battle of Yassıçemen was slightly prior to Ottoman era.(Battle in 1230 and the foundation of Ottoman beylik in 1299) . Maybe the Battle of Torches (in 1583) can be a beter candidate for Ottoman task force. Cheers...Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 05:36, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Right, I changed that to Middle-Eastern. Sorry, but since it is in the Turkey project, I assumed Ottoman would fit best. --Dodo19 (talk) 04:49, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Minister-President
Hello. Earlier in the month you added a citation to a book from the "Webster's Quotations" series published by Icon Group International to this article. Unfortunately, Icon Group International is not a reliable source - their books are computer-generated, with most of the text copied from Misplaced Pages (most entries have by them to indicate this). I'm removing a lot of similar references; many other editors have also been deceived by these sources. Another publisher that reuses Misplaced Pages articles is Alphascript Publishing. Fences&Windows 23:25, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. Will try to remember next time. --Dodo19 (talk) 08:58, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
August 2010
Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Peter Sichrovsky. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Please do not make personal assaults like baseless accusations of racism. Perhaps you haven't comprehended yet that this is English Misplaced Pages. This is not Bolschewikipedia here. Miacek and his crime-fighting dog (t) 12:54, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Peter Sichrovsky. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Miacek and his crime-fighting dog (t) 13:08, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
