Hyperion Planning is a framework to build, develop and run Planning and Budgeting Applications. Hyperion Planning is not an application that runs out of the box. The budgeting and planning requirements vary so much across organizations that it would be impossible to have a standard application that can be utilized by everyone. A custom build is required to tailor the solution to the requirements of each organization.
Hyperion Planning does offer a pre-built budgeting and planning solution for Workforce Planning and Capital Asset Management, however it must be noted that it would still require some level of customization.
