Samantha "Sammi" Hanratty (born September 20, 1995) is an American Actress. In 2007, she began portraying young Charlotte "Chuck" Charles on the ABC series Pushing Daisies.

Sammi currently serves as a StarPower Ambassador for Starlight Children’s Foundation, encouraging other young people to commit their time, energy and resources to help other kids and working with Starlight to brighten the lives of seriously ill children.

Life and career

Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Hanratty is the youngest in a family of five girls, including an older sister named Danielle who is also an actress. In 1997, she moved to Los Angeles and, in 2001, her mother met with an agent leading to bookings for jobs including commercials for Oil of Olay. She also did two commercials for Pringles which gave her the nickname the Pringles Girl. She is also 15 years old and has a hit song on Youtube Finally a Teen. Sammi and her family are Christians, and Hanratty says, "I thank God for my blessings every day."

Hanratty has appeared in several films and television series including the 2006 television movie Hello Sister, Goodbye Life, opposite Lacey Chabert. In 2006, she was a recurring character through seasons 2-3 of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody as Holly, a little girl whose father is a con man and once stayed at the Tipton. In 2007, she appeared in the mini-series Desperation, and had a minor role in Pirates of the Caribbean 2. She has a recurring role on the action-drama series The Unit with her sister Danielle. That same year, she filmed The Santa Clause 3 playing an elf named Glenda. She also plays Chrissa in the new American Girl movie, An American Girl:Chrissa Stands Stong released January 2009.
