Going Commando

The VfD is over, and the article was kept (Misplaced Pages:Votes for deletion/Going Commando). I believe you now owe us a Sienfeld quote :-) --RoySmith 22:54, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Album info

I was at one point asked by someone (dbenbenn or someone like that) to consider adding to the album project some albums related to one of the artists I have edited info on to the album project. My original reaction was that I am so busy trying to get the artists described that I thought the idea of doing album info projects would just be replicating All Music Guide. However, it dawns on me that in some cases All Music Guide might not even list all the personnel (or any) for some albums, while a person owning the album can fill in the info (thus the Misplaced Pages album project may fill a void in certain cases, and help fill in a detail when albums are listed in artist stories such as the type I have worked on). I'm writing you because I clicked on a link to an album in a Tanya Donelly article I edited and saw you had done the album info work. Could you give me any advice on the subject of how to do these in a form consistent with yours or does it not matter? Yours is the first one I've actually looked at, for Whiskey Tango Ghosts. Did you own the album involved and scan the photo? Do you go from album liner notes for the info? Emerman 02:06, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)
