Camilla Scott (born July 12, 1962) is a Canadian actress and television host. Since 2002 she has been married to fellow actor Paul Eves.
Scott was an overweight teen. Inspired by another teen who lost weight, Scott embarked on a new lifestyle and shed the weight. After high school, she moved to Los Angeles, where she faced earthquakes, a mugging, and riots. Nevertheless, she landed a job on the soap opera Days of our Lives, playing the character "Melissa Anderson".
Scott hosted an afternoon talk (The Camilla Scott Show) show on BBS (and later CTV) from 1995 to 1998.
She had a recurring role in the TV series Due South as Inspector Margaret 'Meg' Thatcher of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and frequently performs in Toronto musical theatre productions.
In 2003, Scott had a voice role as Mama Bear in a television adaptaption of the Berenstain Bears.
Her most recent success was starring as Khashoggi in the Dora Award winning Toronto production of the Queen musical We Will Rock You (musical). She closed the show with the cast on June 28, 2009 after taking on the role in October 2008. She was the first to portray the character as a female.
Personal life
Scott is married to Paul Eves, an actor. Together they had a son named Jack born in 2005.
