Ted Kaptchuk O.D.M. is an author, scholar, scientist and Associate Professor at the Harvard Medical School.

He earned the Oriental Doctor of Medicine degree after five years of study in China.

He is a researcher on the placebo effect at the Harvard Medical School. In addition, Dr Kaptchuk has authored many books, articles and papers.
