I’m sorry you had to read my edit summary that I wrote while most likely in a bad mood. Nothing personal whatsoever meant. Makes me wish Misplaced Pages would let me blank out my own not-very-nice edit summaries like that.

In regards to “not showing "purchased" music”, I’m not sure what you are referring to. Are you referring to the Ubuntu One music store? If so, then Ubuntu One shouldn’t be shown in the screenshot on the Rhythmbox page, as it gives a false representation of Rhythmbox. (e.g. if I were a FreeBSD user, I might see the Ubuntu One icon on the Rhythmbox article, download the .tgz file, and be disappointed when it doesn’t include Ubuntu One support.) — ] 11:29, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
:I use Ubuntu, Rhythmbox is available in the ] along with it's optional plugins including Ubuntu one support. I am not sure if the covers arts are free though, that would for a copyright expert to answer because you never know. Edit summaries can be regrettable as we all know. Occasionally I check my Commons uploads is how I came to see that one.--<font face="Segoe Print">]</font> 04:40, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
::So yeah, that’s the trouble — the distros all add their own features on top of software. That’s a good thing: free software is designed to be modified and redistributed. Had your screenshot used the default Ubuntu theme, then your screenshot of Rhythmbox with the Ubuntu One store would have been great to have in the ] article. But for the article on the Rhythmbox software itself, it shouldn’t have any distro customisations.
::But good point about the artwork. I would greatly appreciate it if you would upload a new screenshot with only free artwork and tracks, the GNOME default theme (which is ]), and turn off the vendor customisations. (If you’re feeling hackish, you could even compile Rhythmbox from the original .tgz file.) — ] 21:14, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
::P.S. Here’s a tip for taking perfect screenshots: rather than pressing Print Screen to take the screenshot, press Alt + Print Screen. That will then only take a picture of the current window, which will be cropped perfectly. :-) (You need to turn off Compiz for this to work, but it’s worth it.)

Pardon the delay, I don't check in often due to time constraints. Thanks for the tutorial. Here's a few ways to do it in Ubuntu.
Press Alt-Prtsc to capture the active desktop as you suggested. -
Use ImageMagick, "sudo apt-get install imagemagick" if you don't have it, type import "MyScreenshot.png into your terminal", type "eog MyScreenshot.png" to view the screen capture. You might hear a beep before you see the screen capture. -
Use Gnome-screenshot, Ubuntu's default screen capture tool, to capture the whole desktop or active window. -
Use Gimp to capture, go file, then Acquire, then Screen Shot.-
Use KSnapshot to capture all or part of the desktop. -
There maybe other ways also. I have no desire or time to improve on the image. Perhaps you could upload a better one or check Commons, there are quite a few there.. I dislike the default theme. I do use the Clearlooks theme with a customized window border for more screen real estate. That is the joy of Ubuntu and Linux in general, You can customize it to your hearts desire. I shall consider this my final reply so upload over it should you desire. I don't care one way or the other. <font face="Segoe Print">]</font> 05:37, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

== About SpaceMETA ==

Hi Theda,
I was writing a post about SpaceMETA, one of the 30 Teams around the world selected by Google Lunar XPrize to the Moon race.
Once we was referenced in wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/Google_Lunar_X_Prize , I feel encouraged to explain more about the Team.

I would like to recommend a reconsideration about undelete the post. once its a very transparent and no advertising post, and a theme of big interest for the thecnological people.

We estimate that one of the Teams will have a 1 billion people audience on the day of lunar landing ,,, so it looks like relevant for the internet.

Hi Theda,
I have not ear from you.
I just would like to add that other Teams , like this one , have their pages accepted by Misplaced Pages: ,,, you will arrive in this wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/Odyssey_Moon ,,,, exactly with the same spirit and level of value of my initially proposed. So, please , Kindly undelete our post. I hope now you can see better the situation. <small><span class="autosigned">— Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 02:47, 23 February 2011 (UTC)</span></small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->
