Joyent

Hi there and welcome to Misplaced Pages. While I haven't had a chance to fully go over your changes to the article, I strongly suggest you read the Misplaced Pages guidelines on conflicts of interest before deciding to proceed any further. It appears that your main purpose here is to advance the interests of a particular company. When you carry a conflict of interest, it's virtually impossible to maintain a neutral point of view, which is a fundamental principle of this project. Response

Thank you for pointing out my omission. Clearly, I missed this aspect. (As a side note...I am a bit overwhelmed by all of the caveats!) My apologies.

I was contracted by Joyent to provide an unbiased, factually correct, up-to-date entry. The original entry was clearly incomplete and out-of-date. Joyent hired me as an outsider to remedy the problem. If I understand the COI policy, if I state this "conflict" on my user page, but craft a factually based, unbiased entry, then I will be "in bounds", yes? Or did I miss something else? Thank you, RhodaBernstein (talk) 21:00, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
