Pauley Perrette as Abby Sciuto in NCIS.

Pauley Perrette (born March 27, 1969 in Metairie, Louisiana, USA) is an American actress.

Perrette studied sociology, psychology and criminal science in college. She graduated with honours and later went on to earn a Master's Degree in Criminal Science.

Perhaps somewhat related is the profession of her character Abby Sciuto on the TV series NCIS, as she is a forensic scientist. Abby is an interesting part of the gallery of personae, with her relatively eccentric style and personality. Perrette has also had roles in a range of films and some TV series, including several guest appearances in a large number of TV series.

Perrette supports many charity organizations, including animal rescue (chihuahuarescue.com), the american red cross (arc.org), civil rights, gay rights (hrc.org, apla.org), napo.org, and donorschoose.org, etc.

Perrette is not only an actress; she is also a writer, singer, photographer and a poet. She was the lead singer in the Los Angeles based all female band Lo-Ball.
