Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children is the seventh studio album by industrial metal band Mushroomhead. The album was released on September 28, 2010 by Megaforce Records. The first single from the album is the song, "Come On" which was released on August 16, 2010.

Album title

As stated by the band members themselves, in an interview with MTV, the album title is inspired by the late 80's comic book of the same name. According to the band, they wanted the album title to reflect the nature of the songs themselves, and the title came once they incorporated the visual elements of the project.

Reception

After its first week of sales, the album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Indie chart, and No. 44 overall selling over 11,000 copies the first week.
