Sahir Lodhi has established his credentials as an actor and a host of distinction over Radio & TV and since then ruling many hearts and minds. He made his first tv appearance in program “Chai Time” on Indus Television and after a successful hit of Chai Time his career graph has always shown rising trend some of his most popular shows are: Shair Online, Kuch Tum Kahao Kuch Hum Kahain, Ranjhey Sassi Punoon Heer, Dhorajee, The Sahir Lodhi Show and Morning Masala.. He has acted in drama serials and single plays as well such as Bechrain Gay Abb Kaisay, Bikharnay Say Pehlay, Tum Miyray Ho, Khado Khal, Saheli, Adhoray Khaab. These days his program “Mumkin he sub kuch hy” on Geo Entertainment is very popular.
According to Sahir Radio is his passion which is very much proven in his program ‘The Sahir Show’ on Mast FM 103 there is fun, entertainment, poetry, music, counseling sessions and much more in the show in simple words listening Sahir on the radio is a treat for listeners.
In a short-span, Sahir has achieved significant place in media, he is a man of many parts, a master and articulator of new concepts in media, which in present time seems to many, including his competitors, as heresy from the conventional way of doing radio or tv shows. He focuses a lot on quality and true entertainment with a pinch of reality in it and believes in giving his best.
Other than media work,Sahir Lodhi is running a foundation “The Sahir Ladhi Foundation’, this foundation works in five dimensions (A) Primary health care, (B) Education, (C) Opportunities, (D) Motivation Inspiration and (E) Legal Aid.
Personal life
Sahir was born to Roshan Ali Gohar and & Taj Lodhi in Karachi. He grew up in a family with two brothers and one sister (Amir Lodhi, Tahir Ldhi and Dr. Shaista Wahidi). He started his learning at Pakistan Navy Boys School, did his Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Montena Tech of The University of Montana.
