WikiProject Computer science
Hi! Just wanted to welcome you to WikiProject Computer science. Looking forward to collaborating with you in the future. --Allan McInnes (talk) 17:23, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
The Legend of Zelda series
I have no objection to the removal of 'celebrated'; it's superfluous info, but I don't think it conveys a POV. It is pretty easy to document that Miyamoto is celebrated — just read the article about him to see the accolades and honors bestowed upon him. I just wanted to tone it down from what said before: 'legendary' :)
— mjb 00:24, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Legendary is definitely unecessary. Pegasus1138 00:26, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
With apologies for the impersonal AWB-ness of the message... Thanks for your support on my recent request for adminship. It passed at 91/1/0, and I hope I can continue to deserve the community's trust. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you, and if I make a mistake be sure to tell me. My talk page is always open. (ESkog) 02:49, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
I'm sure you receive many thanks for your reverting of vandalized user pages, but I really do appreciate it. Grika Ⓣ 16:21, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
My RFA
Thank you for supporting my successful request for adminship. I'll try to put the admin tools to good and responsible use. If I do anything wrong you know where to find me. Raven4x4x 08:46, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
Hi! Thanks for your support in my request for adminship. It ended with a tally of (51/0/0). As an administrator, I hope to better help this project and its participants: if you have any question or request, please let me know (I also plan to eat less Web cookies in the future, but that's another story ;-). - Liberatore(T) 12:35, 1 March 2006 (UTC) |
My RFA
For the links you posted (, , ), which ones were you having problems with? And what browser are you using? I tried all three in Firefox, and Internet Explorer, and they all seemed to work properly. Can you be more specific about what problems you're seeing? --Interiot 15:47, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
Community assent
Hello. Thanks for your vote on Misplaced Pages:Miscellany_for_deletion/Wikipedia:Community_assent. I disagree with the deletion, as the guidelines are to let proposals go through an approval or rejection. If the proposal is really not accepted, I rather have it rejected properly. I hope there are parts that do work for validation. I see you disagree and think that it is an "end-run" despite the evidence that clearly shows the attempts originated a year ago rather then recently because of a 3RR. Consider that the 3RR page was my first attempt to update some policy text and this proposal is my first attempt to create a guideline, I'm shocked that a few users labeled it an "end-run" attempt. I had to look up the expression to understand it! :) Well, again... hello! Welcome to Misplaced Pages! — Dzonatas 21:11, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
Thank you for your support in my request for adminship. I'm delighted that the RfA succeeded with a final consensus of 52/17/7, and receiving comments including having 'excellent potential to become a great moderator', and I am now an administrator. It did however only just pass, and I shall do my very best to rectify any of my errors, including the general belief that I should do more article work. If you have any concerns, or if you ever feel that I may be able to help you, please feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Again, thank you!

Thanks for the note! Now, I think the edited image should be loaded over the original one, right? (On WP or Commons?) Will you do it, or shall I? --Janke | Talk 06:30, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
I'm leaving this macrophage, a particularly hungry white blood cell on your talk page, I just finished a rewrite of its article and realized they're not so different from administrators, as they keep their surroundings clean, doing away with anything that's not supposed to be there...Anyway, with that short lecture on cell biology done with, I'd like to thank you for your vote on my RfA, which passed with (49/2/0), I'll do my best to not let you down, and if you see me heading towards a common newbie mistake, please nudge me in the right direction :)

Rollback
Just so you know, rollback isn't limited to administrators. Anyone can implement it with some simple javascript code (which is widely available), and produce edit summaries like "Reverted edits by X to last version by Y". It's just a simple way of reverting when the change is trivially obvious. — 0918 • 2006-03-9 21:06
Sockpuppet?
It is highly unusual for a user to be so familiar with Misplaced Pages's policies, procedures, and inner-workings from the very beginning of their editing here, which is something you've been doing since your very first edits. Can you explain this? — 0918 • 2006-03-9 21:15
- So you could just be a separate account of a current user who is neither a vandal, troll, blocked, or banned? I would just like to know how you became so knowledgeable prior to making edits. — 0918 • 2006-03-9 22:31
- Looks fine to me, fwiw - David Gerard 22:53, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
- Alright. I'll try to AGF in the future. And welcome back. — 0918 • 2006-03-9 23:00

Cleanup
Hi. You've just edited Apple Records discography with a summary of "clean up using AWB". What kind of cleanup just destubs an obviously incomplete article? --kingboyk 03:32, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- Despite being incomplete the article is obviously too long to be considered a stub. Pegasus1138 ---- 03:34, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- Considered by whom?
- Misplaced Pages:Stub: "Stubs are Misplaced Pages entries that have not yet received substantial attention from the editors of Misplaced Pages, and as such do not yet contain enough information to be considered real articles. In other words, they are short or insufficient pieces of information and require additions to further increase Misplaced Pages's usefulness."
- Who ever heard of a discography without albums?
- AWB is a very powerful tool and I'd caution you to use it carefully. In particular, if you're destubbing then change the edit summary to reflect that. You didn't clean the article at all, you simply destubbed it. --kingboyk 03:38, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Misplaced Pages. . Please stop right now. This is a pointless edit and so is this. I've removed you from the AWB list temporarily and will issue a short block to enforce that removal if you don't stop using AWB right now, and go back and read the rules about it's usage. You have broken pretty much every rule on that list. --kingboyk 03:56, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- As per discussion on my talk page I've added you back. --kingboyk 04:16, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
vandalism
Excuse me Mr(s). Pegasus1138, but you are accusing the wrong person. It is Netscott, who reversed my edits again, who is the vandal. Repeating a religios insult, we should just report about, is vandalism and not linkimaging the blasphemous cartoons. Raphael1 12:27, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Wikiethics
Based on the discussion at other places, I suspect it is not going to fly anywhere as soon as they bring it up for voting. If they just leave it as it is without voting, I am perfectly happy to nominate it for deletion. And just let them go for the time being, what you do is also censoring. --KimvdLinde 00:12, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
justify?!?!
Regarding the reversion of my contribution on Submission (film): I never wanted to justify anything. I just wanted to add to the film description. What a sick thought, that a transparent dress in a film could justify murder!! Raphael1 01:57, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism and Violation
It is a polite warn to you that you are already violating Wiki policies. You are vandalizing Misplaced Pages:Wikiethics discussion page. And you are violating 3R rule. We the editors of the page already decided to have a poll later whan the policy is mature. You do not have the right to start a poll or destruct the information in it. Stop vandalizing. You can of course try to contribute to the page for an improvement. I can see that you prefer starting an edit war and vandalizing. YOur choice... Resid Gulerdem 02:17, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
