Nana Effah-Apenteng is the Permenant representative of Ghana to the United Nations, appointed in May 2000. Before this appointment, Nana Effah-Apenteng was Director of Administration at Ghana's Foreign Ministry and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Ghanan Embassy in Washington in the United States of America and in Rome, Italy. Born in Bombata, Ashanti, he is married with three sons.
