Rex Gildo (July 2 1939 - October 26 1999), also known as Ludwig Alexander Hirtreiter, was a German singer.

He sang often with German-Danish singer Gitte Haenning, one of their most known songs is Vom Stadtpark die Laternen.

In 1972 he had a huge hit with a song from Ralph Siegel, Fiesta Mexicana (Hossa).
