Twinkle has disappeared from my screen and the section to add it has disappeared from my preferences page, why is this? Thanks.

Userboxes

Just so you know, userboxes should comply with the user page guidelines and should not include "statements attacking or vilifying groups of editors or persons" as this can damage relations between editors preventing effective co-operation which is necessary for Misplaced Pages to work. --Mrmatiko (talk) 15:47, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

And, furthermore, please disengage from this editor. There is absolutely no need to be this insulting; I know he has serious competence issues, but that's not going to make him listen. I understood that, but consider he's just 13 and is being closely scrutinised on ANI, which is highly stressful and, as a consequence, has made him go on the defensive; he perceived your joke(s) as attacks and reacted accordingly. Please, just leave him be; if a mentor can help him, that's good; if not and he's blocked due to WP:CIR, that's unfortunate (but unavoidable). Just try not to inflame the situation any further. I think it is worth mentioning that this little spat actually sparked up when he got involved in a situation unrelated to him, then tried to nominate the talkpage for speedy deletion, before becoming uncivil. If anything, he has been antagonising me the whole morning. I will take your advice though because I have far more important things to be concerned about. Colofac, the gratuitous insults and abuse which you've directed towards new users over the course of the past few days (, , , , ) has been utterly unacceptable.

As a consequence of your inappropriate conduct, I am blocking you from editing for a period of one week, and strongly suggest that you reconsider your approach to interacting with other contributors in the future; otherwise, the next block is likely to be indefinite. Request reason:

The list of reasons provided are mostly to do with an earlier conflict that I had agreed to disengage from and the block is therefore unwarranted. Further to this, I feel I have been hounded by other users related to this discussion. I disagree that I have been overly uncivil regarding this users' conduct. I do however, accept that my conduct related to User:NNU-1-17100215 may have been unacceptable, and would be willing to make a full apology on their page for my conduct.

Decline reason:

The diffs Kirill lists and a quick glance at your other contributions make it abundantly clear that whether you understand it or not, you have been incredibly uncivil, to multiple users. It's not about any particular conflict you're in; it's about the fact that you currently don't seem to be able speak to users you disagree with in a calm, non-insulting manner. A successful unblock request here will have to convince us that you understand that the incivility problem is real, and convince us that you don't intend to continue insulting or attacking people.
