Maryland Cookies are a brand name of biscuit produced by Burton's Foods in the United Kingdom.

Background information

The recipe for Maryland Cookies was brought to the UK from the US in 1956 and is one of the UK's best selling biscuits. Over 12 billion Maryland Cookies are sold worldwide each year. Maryland Cookies are not actually sold in any part of the US but they are made in Britain.
