Welcome. Please note that this page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions nor to address the pending deletion of any page.
Shortcuts

Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as CSD G6), or in articles for deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other XfD processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process.

This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions on the template or on your talk page.

Note that requests for undeletion is not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Misplaced Pages:Deletion review, rather than here.

Richie Nuzzolese

This was speedied as an A7. As a matter of fact, Richie's claim to fame is playing Steve Johnson in the music video for Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" The article should be undeleted and edited to clarify his claim to fame. -Jeremy Jigglypuff Jones (talk) 07:42, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

From A7: "This is distinct from verifiability and reliability of sources, and is a lower standard than notability." Also: "The criterion does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source or does not qualify on Misplaced Pages's notability guidelines." So the article was not speediable. Jeremy Jigglypuff Jones (talk) 06:44, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
In the case of an unsourced or insufficietly-sourced BLP, admins will speedy under A7 due to our biogaphical policy. Out of respect to the biographical subjects we require all articles on living subjects to be strongly sourced. —Jeremy v^_^v 19:35, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
Admins had best not, because there is no consensus support for that action and no basis for it either in speedy deletion or BLP policy. BLPPROD is the mechanism for dealing with unsourced biographies - not A7. Thparkth (talk) 10:28, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
This is interesting. I haven't looked at REFUND much, but it looks like editors/admins make one person judgements on what is notable, and there you go. That's based on this entry. I could be wrong. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) 05:21, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

ckd galbraith

National company in Scotland, acts in many sectors, and significant press coverage. The article is new and should be given an opportunity to develop. -Hackbinary (talk) 18:21, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

Clerk note: of the two deletions, one is an R2 and the other a G11. I have modified the report to point to the correct page; remember that all titles on Misplaced Pages are case-sensitive. —Jeremy v^_^v 18:30, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
With no comment on the deletion, despite an ongoing discussion with this user, they have attempted to forum shop across multiple admin's talk pages: , , . I'm not amused. -FASTILY 20:45, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
There was no ongoing discussion with Fastily. He/she removed the CKD thread from their talk page. In the first instance, with the article being tagged speedy deletion by user DGG, then Fastily deleted it about 30 minutes later from how interpreted the logs. Then when I initially started querying the deletion, because I thought there should be time to contest the 'speedy deletion' I linked the original page back GMcQ's page, but not attempting to replace the content, so a proper discussion could take place. This was then responded to by Fastily delete GMcQ's user page. It seems to me that Fastily is very quick to act on articles to delete, but quite happy to take his/her time when responding when he/she is asked for assistance or an explanation. I regret if I have not followed all of Misplaced Pages the rules properly; in the first instance I asked Fastily for clarification, but was met with another round of deletes. In the second instance I was seeking further assistance an admin who marked the article in the first, and from someone who is more knowledgeable. The process for having a page restored is not exactly transparent (to a naive user). Finally, simply looking at the volume of what Fastily deletes, I would find that concerning in general. Hackbinary (talk) 22:57, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
It seems that Fastily is to busy attending to other things. (It never seemed to me that there was an "ongoing discussion," but I thought I would give it a couple of days) Could another Admin attend to this issue? Hackbinary (talk) 23:42, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
Could another administrator please attend to this issue. It seems that Fastily has lost all interest in this issue. Hackbinary (talk) 16:23, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
Or perhaps I should repost the original content from the copy that I have? I trust that would be fine if nobody assists by, say next Friday, Oct 21, noon, UTC. Hackbinary (talk) 16:29, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

If criteria A7 (importance) and G11 (advertising) are the only reasons for deletion - i.e. not G12 (copyright) - the content can be reposted and edited outside of the article namespace until it's ready. It could be undeleted and moved to user or wikiproject namespace by an administrator, or another option is to use the article wizard, as a draft at first, then submit for review. Some coverage exists () - probably enough for notability. Peter E. James (talk) 20:55, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Sensory Interventions for Preterm Infants

I was just starting to create this article for a class assignment and had only put the references up. I hadn't gotten a chance to add the substantive information before it was speedily deleted. I have all of the other material formatted and ready to upload. I just need the article "Sensory Interventions for Preterm Infants" to be undeleted so I can upload everything. Thank you. -Lalezars (talk) 20:18, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

You're supposed to write the article first, in a sandbox such as User:Lalezars/Sensory interventions for preterm infants. Once your first draft is ready, you can ask for comment before moving it into main articlespace. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:37, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Flint (Author)

This Article has been deleted, without any warning. And the reason was because of putting the article Flintzel Diao (Flint's sister) that wasn't existed at all. Many articles already added offshoots with non-existing articles, but that article wasn't deleted. Please consider this request -DiaoDIao (talk) 10:19, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Not done - As announced at the top of the page, this process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially and has no applicability to articles deleted after any deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Flint Diao (author), it cannot be undeleted through this process. Nevertheless, if you believe that the consensus found at the discussion was in error, or that significant new information has come to light since the deletion, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user TParis (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. Salvio 10:29, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Brandon Biebel

This is a notable person. He is one of the best living skateboarders and needs a wikipedia page. There are plenty of sources, see http://biebelsworld.com/profile or http://girlskateboards.com/brandon_biebel.html . I would like to write this article. Please mark it for undeletion. Thanks, Amiznu -Amiznu (talk) 21:30, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Note: Of the speedy deletions this article has, the most recent deletion is a G1. Articles meeting this criterion are generally not undeleted either because they require a complete rewrite or they violate our biographical or fair-use policies. The remaining four deletions are a G3, two A7s, and a G7. Of those, none but the very first deletion (a G7) can be restored here as a rewrite would benefit the article better than gibberish, vandalism, or an attempt to make Misplaced Pages into MySpace. —Jeremy v^_^v 02:38, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Catchfree

The article was deleted because it allegedly included "unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person". The page was not created to advertise, but to provide an unbiased view of the company, but I understand that a fellow Wiki user felt otherwise. I have read the Misplaced Pages:Notability (organizations and companies) section again and wish that the page in question be Userfied so the content can be improved upon prior to the re-insertion into the main space. -Casey Armstrong (talk) 00:56, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Every PROD of an element of a notable fictional franchise (e.g., TV episodes) by User:Gh87

See User talk:Gh87#Mass-contesting your PRODs. for the discussion, but I essentially mass-contest every PROD within this scope that this user has ever made. Per WP:ATD and WP:OUTCOMES I believe each should exist as a redirect to their show or to a season article. I simply don't have the time to clean up all of these--so if anyone else would care to, I would appreciate it. Note that I don't have any objection to anyone immediately turning these into appropriate redirects, and of course anyone is welcome to immediately file an AfD on anything so-contested. Jclemens (talk) 03:45, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

To elaborate, Jclemens proposes recovery of previous revisions. Administrators, you can decide to whether or not fulfill this proposal. I have been the one PRODding The O.C. episodes of season 4; since the articles have been deleted, I rebirthed them to redirects to The O.C. (season 4). Here is the link to click. Check history logs as necessary. --Gh87 (talk) 08:23, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
Why PROD, why not just redirect them from jumpstreet and handle any objections through WP:BRD? --Ron Ritzman (talk) 17:50, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
I don't like future vandalisms, and I don't want more history logs. That's why I PRODded. --Gh87 (talk) 19:05, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
I can sort of see the vandalism argument, but not the history log argument. What do you have against preserving the history? LadyofShalott 19:38, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
That's a very good question. Perhaps he thinks that leaving the histories intact would make it too easy for "fanboys" to restore the articles. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 19:55, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Flint Diao (author)

Though the administrator that deleted the article has a reason to delete, but the article is actually verifiable. The article also tells the reliable source of Flint Diao's life. Look at its reference and to really prove you that the article is telling the whole truth. -DaNewAdmin (talk) 10:39, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Bollywood_films_of_2012

the reason for deleting the article was "article about future events" but article was list of bollywood film to be released in 2012 with their release date. For that matter Bollywood_films_of_2011 also contains the list of films that is to be released in future i.e. Nov and Dec 2011 -Ashishsippy (talk) 16:43, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Done - as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored on request. Salvio 23:42, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

I, said person, would like to have my page undeleted as I believe I have a right, the same as my Uncle (Muzaffar Ali) and Aunt (Kenize Mourad) and cousin (Shaad Ali) to be listed on Misplaced Pages. I am from an Indian Royal Family and I am a singer/songwriter (amongst other things) in UK. I can provide evidence that I am who I say I am. Many Thanks. -Jsmnkhan (talk) 23:35, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles concerning people. In general, Misplaced Pages considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning people will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. Salvio 23:40, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

speedy deletion message stated that a.context was missing (true) b. article was too short(not true). I asked for some minutes to fulfill the requested failures. I wrote the context and added around 20 lines to explain the concept of Playing Tricks (PT) and examples (which was missing), but didnt want to re-save the page without a permission. But when I went to ask for it, lost the unsaved text and the page has already been deleted. I was requested to ask here for undeletion. I need around 30 minutes to reconstruct everything. falsely deleted. This article was a properly cited and researched description of a Movie. This was not in any way unambiguous advertising for promotion. It simply stated what was already noted in various articles and reviews on the film. Please restore, and if there are certain criteria that needs change or improvement I will do so. Thank you. -Bankari (talk) 14:37, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for explanation. Also want to know if the user EXtendiaIT has also been deleted? Or he can still log in to make a new article. thanks

They are blocked for a username violation, when indeed they should also be blocked for WP:COI and WP:SPAM. Someone associated with a company/product should never try to write an encyclopedia article about the company they work for, due to COI. If they create a new name, and come back and try to create the same article, they may find themselves blocked again. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 17:54, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for explaining. They were not aware of the COI policy. Then better to delete their account completely, rather than leaving this page here - http://en.wikipedia.org/User:EXtendiaIT.

Gayaned

Obviously he didn't understand that, otherwise he wouldn't even tried to get explanations, and provide explanations. All the online resources have their rules, and sometimes, being first working with those resources, mistakes are made. Obviously the infringements were non-intentional. In some resources people can create accounts, create profiles, etc. He assumed this to be a profile. However, it's obviously a violation.

Anyway, on behalf of him I'd like to apologize for inconveniences caused.

Counterfire (organisation)

Other, smaller (if newer) far left groups maintain entries on Misplaced Pages eg Workers' Power, Alliance for Workers Liberty, etc. Counterfire contains significant figures on UK far left, including John Rees, Lindsey German, Clare Solomon. Counterfire website amongst the most visited left sites in UK. Entry therefore meets Misplaced Pages significance criteria. -195.195.176.1 (talk) 17:31, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
I think you should reconsider this, yes it's likely that this organization isn't notable but it was created by a here compliant editor and PRODed by an ip without an edit summary as its only edit. User:PatGallacher should be allowed to make his case for inclusion in an AFD if he wishes to do so. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 13:46, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

zangersheide

It says the page was deleted because it was advertising a farm. Zangersheide is the name of a farm that produces a breed of horse by the same name. The page was not advertising the farm, it was providing valuable information about Zangersheide horses and the fact that they are from the Zangersheide farm is relevant because they are a new and rare breed which is still developing. -24.160.177.22 (talk) 01:38, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Not done and will not be done See WP:UPANDCOMING. If and when they become notable, then an article could be created. --Orange Mike | Talk 12:53, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
The entire article was the sentence Zangersheide is a warmblood horse registry founded in 1992 which breeds show jumping horses with a link to the farm. This was borderline G11 so I'm unfortunately forced to endorse this. However, any here compliant editor is free to write a new article if there are independent sources discussing this breed, otherwise it's "spam". --Ron Ritzman (talk) 13:32, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Abir (jewish martial art)

please return it back. beside Yehoshua Sofer life, there is a full article in the Hebrew Misplaced Pages tells the story of this ancient jewish martiol arts. פארוק (talk) 23:02, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Note: Surely you jest! No page's ever existed under that title (or any reasonable permutation of it) in any reasonable namespace! Are you sure that the page's title, capitalisation and all, is correct? Note that WP:Notability (as in the policy itself) varies from Misplaced Pages to Misplaced Pages. In other words, what passes muster at one won't pass muster at all the others. —Jeremy v^_^v 16:00, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
It was redirected and still exists in the history, so undeletion is not needed. Unless the issues at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Abir (martial art) can be resolved, either through editing or deletion review, it should stay as a redirect. Peter E. James (talk) 17:10, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
The version discussed at AFD was moved to Yehoshua Sofer, so there may be more content available in the history of that page. Peter E. James (talk) 17:12, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

This page was recently deleted because it said it was about a person or group and said it dident state why it was significant, but i dont see why it has to be significant to not be deleted, because wikipedia is for people to get on and learn about things, and if non-significant things get deleted how is anyone going to know about them. Thank you for taking time to consider undeleting my page -Loganguy123 (talk) 04:17, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Wildcat Victory

Was PRODed as "Non notable uni sports song". K-State is not a "non notable" university. I have used this page for information before, and now the only information regarding K-State's fight song is a paragraph in the K-State Bands page, which links to this page that is now missing. (along with over 100 other links to this deleted page that I found while looking for more information on the song -Beaufish2008 (talk) 05:51, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

the rationale for deletion appears to have been a value judgment - the page was described as 'non-notable'. some people want even 'non-notable' information. -78.146.108.136 (talk) 18:43, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Want to know why this page was deleted???

Not done - As announced at the top of the page, this process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially and has no applicability to articles deleted after any deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Gustavo López (musician), it cannot be undeleted through this process. GB fan 23:18, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Sexlog

Sexlog is a social network with more than 1,2 million users. Is important to Misplaced Pages have some information about -Gustavofn (talk) 02:59, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Note: Of the speedy deletions this article has, the most recent deletion is a G11. Articles meeting this criterion are generally not undeleted either because they require a complete rewrite or they violate our biographical or fair-use policies. The other two deletions are an A7 and an R1, neither of which are undeletable, either. —Jeremy v^_^v 17:03, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

3rd season episodes of The O.C.

I PRODded these above articles, let them be deleted, and created them as redirects. Due to popular demands and reasonable, convincing intentions of preserving history logs, I request recovery of previous revisions without reverted these pages back to their former selves. In other words, recover history while leave them as they are. Still, I'm not too sure. I hope previous revisions do not infringe copyrights as articles of All My Children characters have. --Gh87 (talk) 06:17, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

Not done - they were indeed largely copyvios. A Google search for specimen sentences shows identical text all over the Web, some sites but not all acknowledging Misplaced Pages as the source. In particular, identical text is here and here marked "From : The O.C. Official - FOX". That's a dead link, but it seems clear that, as so often with episode articles, they have been copied from an official guide. There may be un-copyvio versions in the history, but I don't think it's worth the work to check that out just in order to do a partial history-restore behind a redirect. Jonathan Irwin

To whom it may concern, I was rather alarmed to find when I logged in that my article had been deleted. It was only in the beginning process and I was not aware that unpublished items were under threat. My main distress is, I have no saved draft of my article, therefore I would be immensely grateful if you could retrieve it. In future I will make sure to have sufficient sources clearly added from the beginning. Kindest Regards, Lily Irwin. -Lilyirwin1989 (talk) 07:25, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

notable air accident -Footix2 (talk) 08:35, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

This article was created by banned user, but as it is deleted I am unable to see the quality of the content.

I would be willing to make edits to this article if it was undeleted to improve the quality, rather than having to create the article again from scratch. I suspect the content was largely acceptable and the article was only deleted as it was created by banned user (and had few other edits).

Thanks

ideapreneur

unfair deletion. The word does exist. if you google the word you will see many articles relating to the word. How wikipedia can not define the word ideapreneur when it is a recognised course being taught in the capital of the most technological, innovative country in the world is beyond me. Please see School of Communication Arts 2.0 where the school charges £3000 a term to study this a credible qualification recognised by the London school of Arts. -92.238.35.202 (talk) 11:39, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
