In regards to your comment here: sorry, but that's not correct. I'm glad you found an archived version of the article, but where you are telling me what I can and cannot do, "You should not delete any content because of a dead link", you're misquoting the guideline: it says "Do not delete factual information solely because the URL to the source does not work any longer." I did not delete it solely because there was no live link; I deleted it because BLP information needs to be rigorously verified, and I deleted the Israel paragraph for reasons I explained in my edit summary. You should consider coming up with a reason for why his commentary on Israel is relevant at all. I understand that there is a tendency to think that anyone's commentary on Israel is relevant, but I'd like to see that as a guideline first. Drmies (talk) 05:20, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:GeorgesBataille.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
