WrestleMania 23, the World Wrestling Entertainment's twenty-third annual flagship pay-per-view event, is scheduled to take place on April 1, 2007 in Detroit, Michigan at Ford Field. This is the second WrestleMania to take place in Detroit, as WrestleMania 3 took place in the Pontiac Silverdome.

Expect to see matches announced in early 2007. Following tradition, the winner of the 2007 Royal Rumble will likely receive a WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship match at the event. Also, expect Hall of Fame inductees to be announced in late February or early to mid-February.
