James Kottak (born December 26, 1962) is an American drummer for the hard rock band Scorpions. He joined them in 1996.
Kottak was a drummer for Kingdom Come, Warrant, Wild Horses (American), Montrose, the Michael Schenker Group and Buster Brown (American), and he also plays in his own band Krunk. His married to Athena Bass, rocker Tommy Lee's younger sister, she too is a drummer and fellow bandmember of Krunk. They have three children; Tobi (a girl), Miles and Matthew.
