Doug Williams (born November 9, 1969) is an American born bassist.
Williams began playing bass at the age of 8, and has claimed to be "self tought". His past contributions include the Bassist for the Death Metal bands Origin and Cephalic Carnage. He has earned endorsements from the B.C. Rich Guitar Company and Ampeg Bass Amplification.
Williams grew up in Van Nuys California and frequented the Los Angeles area during the early years of his life. After the divorce of his parents in 1982, he bagan to fall in with the early '80s L.A. Rock scene where he admittedly had brief "Run-ins" with the law as he bounced from band to band due to the explosion of the Heavy Metal scene in the mid-late 1980's.

After recording bass tracks for the follow-up, "Conforming to Abnormality", Williams left in 1997, moved back to Kansas City, and joined Origin soon thereafter.
