After a lot of noise, we're both unblocked.

Template changes - why are you reverting those color changes, they are optional, and in good contrast. What is your rationale?..Modernist (talk) 01:52, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

See WP:Deviations, you are using inline style statements to override css classes. This is in violation of the policy. Also, continuously semi-protecting your talk page is also in violation. 186.73.132.154 (talk) 01:53, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Your link is not specific enough - do you need higher contrast?..Modernist (talk) 01:55, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Gotta wonder about an IP who knows so much about templates...another sock? Do you have another name? Open an account?..Modernist (talk) 01:58, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm sorry, do you not know what a css class is? Or are unfamiliar with inline style statements? The policy is written in plain English, but I understand you might not understand html. And you might want to read WP:AGF. Last time I read the WP policies, there was not rule against knowing a lot. 186.73.132.154 (talk) 02:00, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Appreciate your explanation - WP:AGF works 2 ways...Modernist (talk) 02:03, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet that was created to violate Misplaced Pages policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 02:33, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

(edit conflict) Hi, 186... You are correct about wp:deviations. Colour should not be used simply on an editor's (pointy) whim. The templates look much better when they are not all tarted up. Thanks. fyi, Modernist is assuming bad faith. He thinks you're me ;> (which I'm sure you know). Alarbus (talk) 02:36, 12 December 2011 (UTC) (now to see why you're blocked)

Actually color is used for any number of reasons, arbitrary changes by you is your pointy whim...Modernist (talk) 02:52, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

After a lot of noise, we're both unblocked.

This really is a nasty place with a near impenetrable hide that the WP:Vested contributors have. The blocking admin is no longer an admin (although they'll give that back when he stops acting out inappropriately), and is himself blocked. Voluntarily. Really.
