haha OK, now go find all the other places where I made that embarassing gaffe! Thanks for fixing it. Happy editing! ++Lar: t/c 05:32, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Can't. After looking at the picture for more than a minute I get overwhelmed with cuteness and the urge to sprawl on the couch. :-) FreplySpang (talk) 05:36, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- and THAT's why we need fewer cats around here... too many articles await for editors to be sprawling. (with 4 cats in our house it's a wonder anyone gets anything done)... ++Lar: t/c 05:51, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
Poison Ivy
Lady, I like the cut of your jib! First the edit on Poison Ivy which gets me taking a gander at your userpage. No userboxes? Fellow Bostonian? Hoorah. 204.69.40.7 13:06, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

sorry... I recognize it was shameless.
I actually wanted to check how fast someone can notice changes. Pretty fast I guess.
Alcoholics Anonymous
User:64.136.49.229 has been making a lot of bad faith edits to Alcoholics Anonymous (adding "religous cult", etc.). Can this user be blocked? dbtfz 02:50, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

The article that I had created I had copied material from but was going to add to and expand, had just pasted into the box for my own reference while editing. I will not do this again. (Arundhati Bakshi (talk • contribs)) 21:12, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- I have a sandbox already, I just need to get in the habit of using it more often . . . unfortunately, I sometimes just write articles on the fly (if they are stubs anyway) and will sometimes paste other reviews in the main window so I can see if there is anything I missed or need to add -- I never copy directly from one source to the next and plan to leave it that way. Will try to keep it in user space until complete next time. Thanks for the advice. (Arundhati Bakshi (talk • contribs)) 21:21, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- No prob. Thanks for trying to keep me straight! ;) (Arundhati Bakshi (talk • contribs)) 21:26, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Media Lab Groups
On the Media Lab discussion page, we said that we liked the information (since it is currently in the Media Lab article), but thought that it should be seperated into different articles and accessed through a list. Since all of these groups are involved in research that is groundbreaking and I expect people to add additional information once it becomes available. If you have another idea, let me know.
PS- I continued talking on the Media Lab discussion page
FYI
List of Junior Common Rooms afd
Hi you placed a Prod tag on the page List of Junior Common Rooms, with the prod reason as "Misplaced Pages is not a collection of external links". A user has removed the tag and provided a reason on the article talk page. So the page has now been put up for AfD.--Blue520 13:42, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

New Welcome / New User Training?
Could you look at Item 25 on: http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia_talk:Esperanza and comment on it -- this is a proposal that I think may save many of us headaches in the future. (Arundhati Bakshi (talk • contribs)) 03:14, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Slaciner
Hi. Thanks for the thanks! I saw Dr. Laciner was trying to get his university represented here, but had some issues with style and maybe some of the rules, so I tried to clean his article up a little bit.
As for the proposal, it was just an idea, not sure if it can be turned into a workable solution. I notice that some users who come here are pretty darned aggressive and get hostile fast when you correct them, others like this fellow just need a belong hand hopefully. That's kind of why I thought it necessary.
I was thinking of how to work it so that it didn't sound negative or anything and was thinking of something along the lines of "And that's it!" as a clincher towards the bottom or something of that nature to empahsize that there aren't many rules, but they need to be followed. Anyway, thanks for noticing my efforts anyway! :) (Arundhati Bakshi (talk • contribs)) 21:33, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

I really don't appreciate you deleting that article. Did you not check its notability? The guy is famous. I assume you at least had the courtesy to remove him from the other pages he was edited into and all of the redirects to that page. Have fun! - Chaz365 04:10, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey, I think those articles should be in a group nom, rather than individually, since they're all related and will all be deleted for the same reasons- no point in cluttering up today's AfD main page. --Rory096 04:25, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- To be honest, I have no idea. I assume you can merge them with a little note in front of each of the votes. It's not like it's a matter of vital importance. --
Rory09604:28, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks for clearing that up. Regardless, the articles are still notable. - Chaz365 04:30, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Misunderstanding
- Wiki-star: I'm sorry but i'm afraid you're misunderstanding the Joy Of Tournaments Article. The Software is meant for advertising. Please excuse me if i am making a mistake, but i don't think there is any other way to write the article, than to explain it's features.
I'm baffled? Why does the article require cleanup?
Thanks! Wiki-star 05:15, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Pxr
Hey, thanks for your interest in the pxr article. I'll work on finding the reliable sources, so for now I guess we can go back to redirecting it to the parkour article. It's still a new activity, so it'll take a little while longer to really spread, but I should be able to provide those sources soon. As for the fake city, I reverted back to the previous edit, which was one that wasn't done by me, so I didn't realize what someone else had put.

Thanks for catching that. I've moved the information to WikiSource (uploading the sound file as we speak). Should I now turn the Misplaced Pages page into a redirect to the WikiSource page or what? - Emt147 04:46, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

NEW AUDIO --WEASEL
My audio and tanscript have been accepted.
The question now is do you (Administration) want more? These 18 mg files are very large.
Each combat sequence records illuminating events. The editing process is laborsome. I don't want to do so without a general understanding of your needs. --plumalley
- For what it's worth, I fully support adding as many of these to Misplaced Pages/Wikisource as possible. - Emt147 21:32, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
My apologies for using someone by name. It was removed. Then the entire article was removed.
In the future I will not use wikipedia's website for means to further any personal vendetta against any person, place, or thing.
Sorry, Powerbean21

Nevertheless, I still don't understand your comment on promotional. This is vert true information about her, not meant to promote.

Belphegor192 (talk • contribs) removed the changes you made to Sarvangasana and I reverted back to your version. I mention this because were nice enough to explain why you changed the article on Belphegor192's talk page. — ApolloCreed 19:03, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Stephanie staples, again
Well, it was re-created...yet again. It is still very much a copyright violation of ], as most of it is a direct copy/paste from that page. I thought you might like to know, so you can continue your discussions with User:Markallenstaples. The page should probably be speedied again, and normally I would, but this user does seem at least attempting to work with us and I'd live to give some opportunity for improving. That said, she has just one non-single release, and allmusic.com knows nothing about her. She quite possibly fails nn-band anyways. Sigh. --Durin 20:04, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry to have scarpered and left this on you, I had an emergency call to go into work. It seems fairly well dealt with now, though her notability is still up for question. At least it's good to see I'm not the only one who thinks the above user is a close relation rather than an objective fan. -- Francs2000 21:03, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- I already bit at the start unfortunately, though I did try to be as nice as possible about it. I can't get too involved in anything now as I have to wait because the emergency situation hasn't calmed down and may still flare up again. -- Francs2000 21:13, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure...
I got your message about the vandelism. I assure you, I have no prior knowledge to this happening. I am currently writing to you from a cellular phone (T-Mobile Sidekick), and I don't know what ISP it uses, but somehow, it appears it is mine. Could it be someone else on the T-Mobile network? I know for a fact that I've never edited a page from my phone. I don't know what could be blanking the page.
links
hi Freply.
why does it matter if i'm switching one highly commercial link (yahoo) to a less commercial link?
your etymology for cannabis is dead wrong. try looking it up in the britannic encyclopedia.
signing messages
Hi Monkeyman. Could you remember to sign messages on user talk pages, even when they're just warning templates? It's useful for others to know who left a template. Thanks, FreplySpang (talk) 00:53, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, sorry. I'm usually pretty good about it. One too many beers and that tilde gets pretty darn hard to find. :) Monkeyman 13:02, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
List of people with ADHD
I puted sources
- No, you didn't. The sources in one case were entirely unreliable and in the other, don't even claim the actor has been diagnosed with ADHD. --Yamla 15:46, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- To FreplySpang, I did know that you weren't the one who stated that you "puted" the sources. :) Have a good weekend. --Yamla 19:10, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
Ayn Rand Page is BS
My opinion is as good as yours. Its as good as anyone else in this morons paradise. I am not going anywhere. The lies and BS on the AYN RAND page will be changed or you get me forever.
- Funny how you're blocking hundreds of people right now. You should be ashamed of yourself. All those poor AOL people unable to edit.
- Change the Ayn Rand page and I go away. There's nothing in wikipedia rules that say I can't shorten an article and improve its accuracy at the same time. Thats not blanking. All it needs is the basic stuff. I am breaking no rules and I will continue till you people get a clue.

If you wish to be rent-a-shills for Robert G. Davis and USAA, that is your priviledge.
However, if you wish to know the facts of the matter, here they are:
Below is a proposed major revision to "USAA" - the result of carefully researched, assiduously annotated, completely foot-noted, and thoughtfully referenced:
snip
Below is the product of the USAA PR Department, supported by a long list of rent-a-shills, not one of which has actually drafted one complete sentence of text for the article.
snip
The USAA PR department text is materially and substantially incorrect - and misleading.
But that is not the point:
If you go to archive 7, yo can see that my text was posted for review for a month. Yet, you, the rent-a-shill purported admins apply the three revert rule against me but not against the rent-a-shills. And then you lock the article to the side of the rent-a-shills.
How about locking th article to my side of the argument - and then let's the shills propose amd defend their PR article.
"Nonsense" pertaining to "Jerry Murphy" article
With due respect, this is not actually nonsense. It was an actual occurence. Obviously, some parts were embellished for comic effect, but the event was nonetheless true. I kindly request that you allow me to keep this article online.

List of obesity surgeons
Hi,
thanks for your comment/message. I actually wanted people to know obesity surgeons in australia and new zealand with their practice location info. I have come across more such articles in Wiki lists. And since it is open to all, people can add more obesity surgeons and other info. I think this would help a lot for obese patients.
thanks
african american
I can already tell from your message that you are a white boy, probably a george bush supporter. You dont tell me what is offensive because i have to listen to your oppressive kind all day. Dont tell me what the correct terms are because i know far better that you. I know what i am and i have the right to add the truth, your under contractual obligations by your rules and i expect you to follow your own rules. Now i will use my law degree, i am giving you (and other admins) notice of a cease and discess order from changing my remarks. if you do so i will press a suit again you and wikipedia for oppressive racial discrimination and breach of contract.
Obesity surgeons
hi, thanks for your comment on my talk page. I understand that the external links looks so promotional ad i have removed all external links and i will soon add info on surgeon's speciality treatment. Please remove the tag for deletion. Thanks
obesity surgeons
do you think Wiki doesn't want to know obesity surgeons information? I think my list would help people to find the surgeons info easily(The main aim of Wiki is to help visitors get info)
or can you please help me in presenting the list of surgeons information in Wiki in any other formats?
Roper v. Simmons
However, in light of a 2003 U.S. Supreme Court ruling, in Atkins v. Virginia, 536 U.S. 304 (2002), that overturned the death penalty for the mentally retarded, the Missouri Supreme Court reconsidered Simmons' case and concluded that "a national consensus has developed against the execution of juvenile offenders" and sentenced Simmons to life imprisonment without parole.
It is not a 2003 ruling....it is obviously a typo, as it says (2002) after the case.....Atkins v Virginia (2002), Argued Feb. 20, 2002 and Decided June 20, 2002. see link

- I understand what you are saying on the copyrights tags. The thing is I am currently a student in college and while I was away, my little brother found out my password and began copying and pasting from the ESPN.com website, but he is only 12 and dosen't know any better. I just got on here for the first time in about a month and could not believe all of the copyrights he did on here. And I just would like some advice on what to do about it, like if I should just start a new acount or something. Thank you. --Number24165 03:07, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
