Contested deletion

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... (guys, you have asked that we donate the content and indeed we placed this text at the bottom of the page (http://www.kopytman.com/information.php?info_id=1).... The text of this page is available for modification and reuse under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License and the GNU Free Documentation License (unversioned, with no invariant sections, front-cover texts, or back-cover texts). .... what else should we do here?) --AriBenami (talk) 13:54, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

Thank you, Ari Benami — Preceding unsigned comment added by AriBenami (talkcontribs) 17:49, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

Just to point out that I have no relationship what so ever to Kopytman except that I am interested in music of the region and have travelled to Kamianets, Chenivtsi, Kishinev, Lviv, Moscow and the Canberra School of music and have been involved in fundraising for the Hebrew University. I did post the Kopytman article in the Ukrainian wikipedia however, mainly from materials in the Russian wikipedia version and from the Ukrainian music Encyclopedia. Your edits to the article appear to be fine. However, when an editor with an admitted COI on the subject (AriBenami) is removing the COI tag, I have a serious problem with that - which is is why his latest edit on the article was reverted as vandalism. MikeWazowski (talk) 03:03, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
Which is a misrepresentation, and your 6th RV today. THis smells like a block to me.--Galassi (talk) 03:20, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
A misrepresentation, how, exactly? I gave you the specific diffs where the COI was made clear. MikeWazowski (talk) 03:38, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

I have temporarily locked the page so the editors can achieve consensus on the talk page. Please remember that tags alone do not fix article problems.   Will Beback  talk  03:43, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

I have started work on creating a Misplaced Pages acceptable version here (please ignore the misspeling), I've removed most of the rubbish that wasn't needed and the references as some of them are dubious. Any comments would be appreciated. Sincerely, He's Gone Mental 09:22, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
I think the list of compositions need to be restored, it is pretty customary for composers.--Galassi (talk) 15:47, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
I put most of the stuff I removed at the same page. Put what you want from there back in, I just felt that the sheer quantity wa overwhelming and removed it all as I don't know too much about his work. Sincerely, He's Gone Mental 16:33, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
