At 20, Karri landed in United States of America to pursue higher studies. He successfully graduated with Masters in Computer Science & Electronics Engineering from . 			Nagendra Karri started his career working with a private brokerage firm LPL Financial, San Diego. He moved to New York City in 2006, and worked on a high end security system for Department of Health, New York City. Followed it up with an excellent time in JP Morgan, Chase in New York City where he met most of his best buddies who supported him to venture into the creative world of his dreams, .

			He started in 2007 with the backing of some venture capitalists and his best buddies from Wall St. His interest in writing and other literary pursuits helped him to start writing at an early age, which later translated to his unending interest to write film scripts. Nagendra Karri (born November 28, 1982) is an American film director, screen writer and producer who resides and works primarily in United States. His movies are primarily suspense thrillers and crime dramas. He is the founder of Eternal Mind Productions, an Independent film production company based in New york City in United States of America.

Karri received critical acclaim for his debut feature Where are you, Sophia? which premiered in Marche Du Film Market in 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Nagendra Karri is a Computer Science graduate from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon who gave up a six figure salary on Wall Street to go after his dream of Hollywood film making.

Karri's body of work addresses such themes as Jewish Russian Identity, RED Mafia, and the conceptual core of Organized crime in the present day world starting from the post-soviet era.
