Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson (born November 19, 1989), better known by his stage name Tyga (an acronym for Thank You God Always), is an American rapper signed to Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Universal Republic Records. He is of Vietnamese and Jamaican descent. He first received recognition with his debut single "Coconut Juice", featuring his cousin Travie McCoy.

In 2009, he appeared on "Wife Beater", "Bedrock", "Roger That", and "Finale" from the album "We Are Young Money", which includes artists signed to the Young Money label.
In 2010, he collaborated with Chris Brown on the mixtape "Fan of a Fan". Later that year, he announced the release of his second solo album "Careless World: Rise Of The Last King", due to be released on January 24th, 2011.
