Evangelos Marinakis(born on 1 January 1968) is a Greek businessman and current president of Olympiacos F.C..

Evangelos Marinakis assumed the presidency of Olympiacos F.C. by December 2010. In June of that year had reached agreement with Mr. Socrates Kokkalis participation in capital increase of the club and held the majority stake of 70%. In August 2010, was elected new President of Superleague for 2 years and vice HFF

Marinakis has a degree in "International Management" and Master in "International Relations".

In business he has been CEO of Capital Maritime Corp. He is also Chairman of the Board of Capital Product Partners LP, which Shares traded on the U.S. stock market Nasdaq.

These companies are leaders in the maritime transport of petroleum products, chemicals and other liquid and dry cargo worldwide. They have a modern fleet with a total tonnage of over three million tonnes. He was charged with complicity to commit acts of bribery and match manipulation but has denied any wrongdoing.
