It's just usually the "David Spector" part would lead to your user page and the "talk" part would lead to your talk page, so I was surprised when I clicked on your name and it brought me to your talk page. It's fine the way it is, but maybe removing the "(talk)", as people looking for your userpage (like me) who see that there is a "talk" button would assume that the "David Spector" part would link to your userpage. I think it's more common that if there is only one thing linked it's the talk page. In your case, Pepper, it's your user page, which required me one more click to get to your talk page--which, by the way, appears in this odd, narrow column. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 05:02, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

If you will examine my sig more closely, you will see that it is a single link, clearly named "David Spector (Talk)". There is no possible confusion that part of this string points to my User page. I think it is fine as is, and an improvement over the default link the points to the rarely needed User page. But thanks for raising the issue and getting me to think about it again. I am aware that it is all one link, and sure - it's fine the way that it is. I guess the point I was bringing up was that the sig that you have is very close to the default - where the name links to the userpage and the talk links to the talk. Route description for ON 417

Hey, thought I'd come to you as you're the most active Ottawa area editor in the project. I'm working on Ontario Highway 417 right now... done a good chunk of the history, but the Route description is not easy for me... because, well... I've never been to Ottawa! I was wondering if you'd be willing to give me a hand on it (especially with points of interest along the route that should be noted), at the very least by just making sure what I write is correct. I'm essentially going by Google Streetview/satellite, pictures, and my mapbook right now.

Weddell Sea Bottom Water

Thank you for your edits and help. Yes, psm is parts per salt per million. It can be an ambiguous unit of measure though since oceanographers have yet to decide on a certain unit of measure to use to measure the ocean's salinity. Perhaps if you have time, you could also help with my other contribution? Antarctic Bottom Water

One simple thing you can fix is the reference format. Use Template:Cite journal when you are citing a journal, and enter in the correct information into the appropriate spot on the template. In other words, copy and paste {{cite journal |last1= |first1= |last2= |first2= |year= |title= |journal= |volume= |issue= |pages= |publisher= |doi= |url= |accessdate= }} where you currently have the references. Then substitute in information, such as last1 (the first author's last name) is Seabrooke. You can delete the parameters that you don't have information for, and you can look on Template:cite journal to see what the parameters mean.
