Chad Butler (born December 29 1973) is a rapper. Known professionally as Pimp C, he is one-half of southern hip hop act UGK. UGK, which also includes Bun B, was a successful act in the Southern U.S. during the late-1990s and early-2000s, and also made prominent guest appearances on hit singles by Jay-Z ("Big Pimpin'", 2000) and Three 6 Mafia ("Sippin' On Some Sizzurp", 2000).

On January 28 2002, Pimp C was sentenced to eight years in prison for not completing community service which he got for an aggravated gun assault charge. Though still incarcerated, Pimp C released his debut solo album, The Sweet James Jones Stories, in March 2005 through Rap-A-Lot Records.

Pimp C was released on Friday, December 30, 2005 from the Terrell Prison Unit in Livingston, Texas.
