empirical/analogical/logical
Hey, I apologize if you think I am drawing this out or making too much of a small thing. And I know you are not taking any side. I just want to know: do you think the point I was trying to make was (a) unclear (b) irrelevant or (c) wrong? I do not think you are seeking another protracted discussion. I do genuinely want to know what you think (not about the edit to the lead, but about why I don't consider the examples of the Buddah, Halloween, Thursday, or xerox machines to be relevant). I am not trying to get into a debate with you. It is just that: in those cases where I believe that an experienced editor acting in good faith and trying to make a constructive comments has actually not made a constructive edit, I nevertheless understand why she thought it was constructive ... but in this case I don't, even though you are an experienced editor and I know you were acting in good faith and trying to be constructive. I'd just like to understand where the disconnect was/is. Slrubenstein | Talk 19:51, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
