Hello Michaeldsuarez. I appreciate you informing on the use of my quote. I agree it is very unfortunate for me, and I'm a bit surprised. I didn't think it seemed like a biased comment. I'm glad you played a little defense on my part by pointing out that my record speaks for itself. I'm a believer in action speaks louder than words, and my edits show that I am unbiased, and only present verfiable facts and sources. I'm not really going to get into it on the signpost because I feel the MFD was a biased assault against the wikiproject conservatism, and shouldn't have brought about in the first place. Disputes should be on an article by article basis. Thank you again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jjrj24 (talkcontribs) 22:27, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

ArbCom election 2011

I'm technically an OTRS member. Its also not a complete list of my socks but trying to put together a complete list (the most obivious ones you missed are user:Genicoord and the unused user:UK voteing account) would result in the table looking rather silly.©Geni 20:53, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

A fair chunk of the first page of Special:ListUsers was create by me to push some rather nasty attacks off the first page (This was before usernames could be changed). User:Arbcom Candidate was created as an example account for the arbcom 2006 elections. I've create a lot of accounts over the years to test things and the like so I honestly can't say if any given list contains them all.©Geni 21:45, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
Is "Mandatory statement:I'm prepared to identify to the foundation if elected." missing something?©Geni 13:20, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification

Hi. When you recently edited Anwar Yusuf Turani, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages War of independence and Uyghur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your input is needed on the SOPA initiative

Hi Michaeldsuarez,

You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.

Thank you.

Restore

Hi! I was wondering, what up with your "restore" edits to Misplaced Pages:SOPA initiative/Action? (Not criticizing, just curious.) --Guy Macon (talk) 17:22, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

See Misplaced Pages talk:SOPA initiative/Action#RfC page is busted again. An IP accidently deleted all the support votes, it got restored to just before the IP's edit, so 19 intermediate revisions by 16 users got deleted. Michaeldsuarez restored the votes and comments that got deleted. It looks like they are all there. Well done Michaeldsuarez, have a brownie. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 22:43, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, but I've already told Guy Macon about it, and he or she acknowledged the problem and expressed thanks. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 23:05, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Thanks for your help on List of US Congresspersons who support or oppose SOPA/PIPA

Your title was way better than the one I had. :) Good work! --HectorMoffet (talk) 06:50, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Your involvement with Misplaced Pages Review

I see that you are a user of Misplaced Pages Review, a website devoted to critisising Misplaced Pages and our editors. You are a constructive contributor to Misplaced Pages, so I wonder what your motivation is for using a site like WR? The site and its users are frowned upon by many users here. I saw your comments on the Newt story as well. Thought you might be interested in participating in this project. King4057 (talk) 01:52, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

oh and/or this Wikimania submission. King4057 (talk) 04:53, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Hey Michael. They just posted my blog. Would you say this is about right? King4057 (talk) 16:43, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Joe DeSantis

Hi, Michael. I goofed up the other day when I changed the section header at Enough, Joe. My mistake—I mis-read what was happening there. Thank you for reverting my change. A question: why was it wrong for Joe D to remove "third wife" from Callista's article? (I agree with Joe that it doesn't belong). --Kenatipo 18:03, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

How is this useful

This comment makes very little sense, and is not overly germane to the discussion. Jimbo praised something; I echoed the praise, but raised a concern. I wanted to see a response - you don't think I know that I would eventually talk directly to the editor in question? Like, seriously? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 19:15, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

RainbowDash / Futtershy and an unsuccessful ArbCom candidate

May I ask what you hope to achieve by asking every unsuccessful candidate? Do you expect one of them to turn around and say "yes, it was me, please bring the lynch mob round"? And, assuming any benefit is gained from knowing who it was (which I'm not seeing), has it not occurred to you that a simple process of elimination using publicly available information drastically narrows the field? Thanks

Thanks for finding that broken webcitation link on Fast Five and fixing it. Darkwarriorblake (talk) 20:48, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Web archive

Hi,

I noticed that you fixed my link to the web archive on Grass Mud Horse. Are there directions somewhere on how to do it right? Or maybe you could explain to me. I find directions for things hard to follow. Best wishes, MathewTownsend (talk) 13:25, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Stifling of criticism

Michael, do you condone what the "friends of ED" have done to stifle free speach and criticism of encyclopediadramatica.ch?

http://encyclopediadramatica.ch/index.php?title=Encyclopedia_Dramatica:Thizzlehat_Junction_Center&diff=prev&oldid=327444#Brandt_pulls_the_plug_on_wikipedia-watch.org

If not, why have you not spoken out about it? 156.17.232.191 (talk) 22:08, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

I was just asking for information, and now I have the answer: http://encyclopediadramatica.ch/File:DanielBrandtFriendsOfRyanCleary.jpg. I'm also spreading that answer around: http://www.betabeat.com/2012/02/15/scroogle-may-have-been-a-victim-of-hackers-not-google/. As far as I'm aware, ED isn't responsible for what happened to Misplaced Pages Watch or Scroogle, so I can't condone or condemn ED for what happened. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 23:19, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
