His winning song, Teenage Life, was written and produced with Ricardo Autobahn from the Cuban Boys, who were responsible for the infamous "hamster dance" hit Cognoscenti Vs. Intelligentsia in 1999. On 4th March 2006 Sampson won the BBC show ]. He will represent the UK in the ] on 20th May 2006 in Athens.
