Tel Rumeida (Template:Lang-he) is a tell that is the site of a number of Palestinian houses and families as well as a Jewish Israeli settlement and an Israeli military base. The most famous resident is Baruch Marzel, a right-wing activist and head of the Jewish National Front, who lives there with his family. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.
Some Jewish scholars argue that the tell is the location of biblical Hebron.
