Hi. The article ] is about a website that was taken offline in October 2007. However, the bot continues to update the Alexa rank, even though the website that currently occupies the old domain name otherwise has nothing to do with the subject of the article. I would prefer that the infobox would simply retain the last Alexa rank for the old site ''in perpetuum''. Is there a way to make OKBot stop updating a particular page? Thanks. ] (]) 02:08, 2 May 2012 (UTC) | Hi. The article ] is about a website that was taken offline in October 2007. Alexa Bot
Hi, I was requesting an edit request for the page reported back in Nov '11 on the JS-talk page. Can you check the last thread where I was asking if it is possible to include the alexa rank into infobox software? If I understand your code correctly ( https://gitorious.org/okbot/okbot/blobs/master/alexa_ranking.py ) then it is totally independent of every infobox, or? mabdul 11:56, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
- It is independent, but I wonder if it's useful to have any website ranking for software.--OsamaK (talk) 07:52, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Opt out of OKBot?
Hi. The article TV Links is about a website that was taken offline in October 2007. I would prefer that the infobox would simply retain the last Alexa rank for the old site in perpetuum. Is there a way to make OKBot stop updating a particular page? Thanks. - OKBot depends on this list and I just removed TV Link from it. Thanks for the feedback!--OsamaK (talk) 03:42, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
