Macedonia, presented in the contest as FYR Macedonia will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 and will select their entry through a national final, organised by the Macedonian broadcaster MKRTV.

National Selection 2012

On 19 November 2011, MKRTV announced its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku with the announcement of Kaliopi as Macedonian entrant. Kaliopi was selected to represent Macedonia in 1996 with the song "Samo ti", but the country failed to qualify for that edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held in Oslo.

The song will be selected internally.

At Eurovision

Macedonia will compete in the first half of the second semi-final on 24 May.
