*Felt great after taking a small breather during the weekend, and with the amount of data/information on hand I've been building up a mental picture of who the culprit might be after ruling out most of the impossiblities. Bugs, do you still remember a certain Indonesian editor who was de-facto BANNED after he repeatedly harassed me and call me names on my talk, from back in 2008? Think I might have to bring in the people who are more familiar with his behaviour to help assess this before I bring it up to ANI/SPI. --<small>] <span style="font-family:Italic;color:black">]</span></small> 15:18, 17 June 2012 (UTC) | *Felt great after taking a small breather during the weekend, and with the amount of data/information on hand I've been building up a mental picture of who the culprit might be after ruling out most of the impossiblities. Wikipe-tan's advice to trolls, vandals, Republicans, and other malcontents:
Go, and Wiki-sin no more!
NOTE - I am currently swamped with work projects and will have a reduced time slice for wikipedia. );

Orange Marlin
I noticed ANI on my watch list and that piqued my curiosity. There seems to be a slow wheel war over his user rights. Since at least two of the rights are ones you can't use while blocked (I have no idea about reviewer), I can't fathom why it would matter, why a Commons admin would care, or why three different en admins would feel compelled to remove the permissions or why one admin would feel compelled to restore them. --B (talk) 04:28, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- There's something fishy going on there, and Jayron shut it down before it could be explored. However, I'm supposing he's privy to additional info and just doesn't want to get into it. ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 04:31, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- Well, he's OTRS, so it could be that Orange Marlin himself has asked for the permissions to be removed. (I don't know why he would, but that would explain why four different people have cared enough to try and make it happen.) --B (talk) 04:36, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- It's all rather weird. Enough so that I'm taking ANI off my watchlist for awhile. Things seem to get weirder there every day. ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 04:39, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ha ha. The drama there can be strangely addictive - it's like watching reality TV. --B (talk) 04:42, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Beware of the garbage trucks~!
- Hey Bugs, as you may know by now (or not)... of late, I've been the target of garbage dumping from some equally rubbish IPs. My question now being: is it time for school's summer break again? Well, if it is then I'm going to look at it from the bright side... at least they weren't drink driving. But still, we have to beware of the garbage trucks~! Thoughts~? --Dave 14:02, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- Saw your kind words on ANI, thanks~! FWIW, IF I'd messed up, some kind Admins would have corrected me a long time ago so I'm pretty sure I'm doing the right thing here. Anyway, I'm not going to respond to rubbish from garbage trucks and if you guys are reading this, I forgive you... have a nice SUNday~! --Dave 04:07, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Well, as I just implied there, it would probably be best to drop the "bag 'em - tag 'em" thing. Even though it's funny, it gets troll-enablers riled here. ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 05:15, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- FWIW that's my advice too. Don't stop having fun though -- it's how we lose people. Antandrus (talk) 05:42, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- When dealing with less desirable Wikifauna, I try to use highbrow humour. Big words like "egregious" and "preposterous". - The Bushranger One ping only 05:44, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- No prize for guessing why the Tyrannosaurus rex was always such an angry creature. Gawd, I love Rodney! --Dave 06:16, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Then they'll accuse you of being uncivil for forcing them to use a dictionary. :( ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 05:49, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Those are splendiferous Bushranger. Words like these always throw my spell check off (speaking of which did you mean egregious or gregarious?) :-) I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday - especially those of you who are Dad's. MarnetteD | Talk 05:52, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Speaking of which, I just got an email from a colleague that redirected me to an advrt by Durex and it says "To all those who uses our competitor's product - Happy Father's Day!". Guess I can't argue with that logic. *lol* --Dave 06:03, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Very good. :) Some of the drive-bys probably use a different brand. It's called "Condominimum". :) ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 06:08, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sacrebleu~! Look what you just made them do... --Dave 06:43, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yup. I make them do everything. They are mindless robots. And some of them are not members of any political party. ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 06:47, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe just like them recent Tea party? Lots of hot air there but where's the water to brew the tea with?? --Dave 06:52, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- It was outsourced. ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 06:53, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Not again... and to paraphrase an old colleague of mine: "straight into the blackhole of Calcutta!". --Dave 06:56, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
The ways of the Wiki, they are mysterious. Heiro 05:54, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'm glad you posted this HR I spent 20 minutes looking for it earlier and couldn't remember where I had seen it. As to political parties some of you might enjoy this . The relevant one is for Sunday June 17th so if you "toon" in on Monday you will have to use the calendar function just above the comic. MarnetteD | Talk 06:53, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
