I read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_soapbox that "This applies to articles, categories, templates, talk page discussions, and user pages." but it didn't mention anything about "This includes using Special:EmailUser to recruit users for your own project."

Is there any documentation you can refer me to that says I can't use the Special:EmailUser function? I'm not doubting this, I just wanted to read more into it to find a better way to share my project with other people.

I think the person would like to know how to put an "on vacation" template, or similar, on their talk page. Also they might want advice on the topics of chemistry and demolition, but best to avoid those, I think. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 23:25, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

No - I haven't gotten around to editing many articles. I was really interested in editing articles a while back but not so much any more. I just read your profile... I was in Los Angeles for a bit. The weather in cali can't be beat! Did you get a chance to check out Redacted spam link ?
