The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that Fritz Schilgen was the final torchbearer for the first Olympic torch relay at the 1936 Summer Games? Nazi Party

The German Misplaced Pages says that Schilgen was barred from competing because he did not join the Nazi Party. I can find no other source for this heroic explanation, so I am not including it. Fishal (talk) 23:36, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
