==History== | |||
It is believed that two teenage girls almost died in a car accident in 1934 when they lost control of their car and it ended up in the lake. A local farmer, Connor Reid, immediately jumped into the icy cold water and saved the girls' lives, losing his own in the process. He is considered a hero by many and ] was allegedly named after him. | |||
