Born in Nigeria, Orife started playing football at age 7 and later joined the Italian oil giants football club in nigeria Agip(N.A.O.C)Explorers. He was part of the team that became runners up in the 2005-2006 Oil industry games. Orife arrived England as a teenager having huge prospects as he was beign watched by several clubs including Chelsea Fc and Calcio Catania of italy . He was called up to the Nigerian U23 team in 2011 for the London 2012 Olympic Qualifiers and CAF U23 championship . He was later linked with a move to Ajax FC.
