Statue of the Dog on the Tuckerbox at Snake Gully, five miles from Gundagai. The statue was unveiled by the then Prime-minister Joseph Lyons in 1932 as a tribute to pioneers.

The Dog on the Tuckerbox is an Australian historical monument and tourist attraction, located five miles from Gundagai, New South Wales. It was sculpted by local stonemason Frank Rusconi and opened by the then Prime Minister of Australia Joseph Lyons in 1932.

The statue was inspired by Jack O'Hagan's song, Where the Dog Sits on the Tuckerbox (five miles from Gundagai).

A large highway side development has occurred in 2006 with a KFC, Subway, McCafe, BP Service Station and the Tuckerbox restaurant opening in one large food court style complex.
