Lancer, in your opinion, they don't. In my opinion, they do. Not the sexing up, though. She only has sex with her husband, and there's nothing wrong with that. But the constant drinking goes against traditional values. Since the term "values" is entirely subjective, I made a compromise. I said that the Oblongs have better values than the Hill people. Where does it say that Biff is gay and that Chip is straight?

Re: Biff and Chip

The show never says that Biff is gay and that Chip is straight, but it's somewhat implied like Smithers in The Simpsons, but Biff's sexuality is never confirmed. I think that part of the article should be removed.

"The Oblongs are portrayed as a generally happy family and usually display good values." - Is this a joke? -Silence 21:21, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Uhh, no? Why would it be? --Antoshi~! 14:05, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Pickles certainly doesn't have good values. Politician818 02:08, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Pickles absolutely has good values. She does all sorts of things for her family, and is not a bad mother. Smoking, drinking, and sexing up the place do not equal bad values. Search4LancerFile:Pennsylvania state flag.png 02:01, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

The Mayor

I have noticed that the character called Johnny "The Mayor" Bledsoe is missing in the latter episodes, and at the start of the series HE is the father of the Debbies, while later when he vanishes, Mr. Climer is their father. What's the deal with this? It's not mentioned in the article either.

The Debbies aren't related. They're just all exactly the same. They have different parents. The Mayor is one. Mr. Climer is another.

Hmm...and they say that the valley is the place with all the polluted mutations? Well thanks for clearing that up. It was quite confusing.

Hey, that's interesting.

Were Biff and Chip conjoined in the womb? Because aren't conjoined twins always identical? Are Biff and Chip identical, cause don't they have different colored hair? If they're identical, then I guess that a message of the show is that you aren't born gay. Cause if people are born gay, then both twins would have to be gay. Politician818 22:35, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

1. You're reading too much into the show. It's a goddamn cartoon... 2. The gay comment is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Neither of them is gay (RTFA), so there was no reason for it. And even so, if one of them was gay, I severely doubt that that would be a 'message of the show.' Once again, reading too much into it.
