Marc Ostrofsky is a Houston, Texas based entrepreneur. He is co-founder and President of Internet REIT, Inc. and focuses on identifying new technology trends, partnerships and relationships for the firm. Marc is most noteworthy in the domain name industry for his record sale of Business.com in 1999 for $7.5 million to eCompanies. He coined the term "Domain Names are Internet Real Estate" when he bought Business.com for $150,000 in 1995.
Mr. Ostrofsky is a technology and Internet evangelist and researcher in various Internet and telecom sectors. His upcoming book, Get Rich Click, is scheduled for release in late 2006.
Prior, Ostrofsky created, built and sold two publishing and trade show firms (Information Publishing Corporation and Multimedia Publishing Corporation).
Ostrofsky has also founded and sold four "high tech" Internet and telecom magazines and 10+ trade shows and conventions, including idNames.com, an international domain name registration service that was sold to and is now a $30 million division of Verisign.
