Hello BabbaQ and IP editor. I have declined both reports at AIV. BabbaQ, I think you made some mistakes with the way you handled this matter. First, you should not have characterised the IP's post as vandalism, when it was clearly an attempt to improve the encyclopedia and they had already become active on the article talk page. Second, you should not have removed the other party's remarks from the WP:AIV page. They have a right to post there and give their side of the story. The only remarks that people should delete from WP pages or talk pages is stuff they wish to remove from their own talk page. Please leave everything else alone.<p>All three of these IPs - 87.232.1.48; 87.232.101.9; and 134.226.254.178 geolocate to the same place, somewhere in Europe. It's quite likely that all three IP editors are the same person, but it's not certain. Some IPs are ]; that means a person is assigned a new IP address each time they boot up their computer. Another possibility is a person editing with a mobile device who is assigned a new IP each time they leave the range of one cell tower and enter another cell. 134.226.254.178 geolocates to a college. -- ] (]) 20:52, 15 February 2013 (UTC) |

: I can agree with the first parts of your statements I could have handled it differently. But I am basically sick and tired of these IPs that comes with personal attacks at any given time. And though I probably didnt handle it as is proper I will not apologize for keeping a hard stance towards this IP/s. As I have stated to the IP/s I wish to have no further communication with it, as it would be unproductive and only lead to more drama. Concerning the second part of your statement that makes it quite clear that the IP/s belong to the same user but I will leave it as I cant be bothered communicating with the IP no more.
