Radio Free America (colloquially known as RFA) is an Electronic/Rock band from Phoenix, Arizona. The brainchild of singer-songwriter Eric Seven, the band is well known in the desert Southwest for its unique blend of synthesized beats and aggressive guitar. The band has been recording and releasing music consistently since the release of their debut album Silent Adoration in 1991, and has been actively performing live in various incarnations consistently since 1997.

Although RFA's success story as a rock band is modest by most considerations, they have had a number of notable achievements during their career.

  • In 1998, their cover of The Chauffeur by Duran Duran was featured on Duran Duran B-Sides and Rarities.
  • In both 1999 and 2000 the band was named "Best Industrial Band" by the Phoenix Phoenix New Times.
  • Their 2004 album Fatal Exception was recorded and produced by popular Phoenix producer Daggrr.
  • In 2005, NBC featured the RFA song Believe in several promotional spots for the television shows Surface, Medium and Las Vegas.
