:If the proposal is accepted, existing userboxes will be moved to the new <tt><nowiki>Userbox:</nowiki></tt> space – for example, <tt><nowiki>Template:User foo</nowiki></tt> will be moved to <tt><nowiki>Userbox:Foo</nowiki></tt>. Userpages that include the existing userboxes as templates will then need to be edited to point the template links to the new location – for example, <tt><nowiki>{{user foo}}</nowiki></tt> will be changed to <tt><nowiki>{{userbox:foo}}</nowiki></tt>. Userbox Policy

I asked in WP:MUPP about the new policy of userboxes. Please reply here about how existing boxes will be converted to the new policy. --Tuvok 04:24, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

If the proposal is accepted, existing userboxes will be moved to the new Userbox: space – for example, Template:User foo will be moved to Userbox:Foo. Userpages that include the existing userboxes as templates will then need to be edited to point the template links to the new location – for example, {{user foo}} will be changed to {{userbox:foo}}.
