::Before I drop you from my Watchlist, having inadvertently added you, one helpful comment, that I am quite certain you will ignore, just as you ignore all advice from more experienced editors. It took you 41 revisions, and counting, to write this pathetic, self-serving, nonsensical, delusional polemic? I don't know whether to laugh or cry. You are in complete denial as to your own serious misconduct, and your protests of innocence and provocation are ludicrous. You want to impress people that you've learned your lesson? Shut up about it and do positive, non-disruptinv work. No wonder you have nearly 50K posts - at the rate you revise your own posts, it's equivalent to 1500 posts by an editor who actually reads what they write before they hit "Save Page". That's nothing to brag about. What an utter waste of bandwidth. With any luck, our paths will never cross again on Misplaced Pages. Have a nice life, kid. ] (]) 01:06, 1 April 2013 (UTC) | |||

Admin coaching
Hello. I noticed your request for a coach over at Admin coaching, and I'm available. If you do not currently have an admin coach, I would be glad to be your coach. I do have a few of conditions though, and they are that you:
- watch your coaching page closely, and reply to every post there in a timely fashion
- fill in all of your edit summaries (if you find yourself forgetting, there's a setting in "my preferences" that will remind you)
- complete all the assignments you are given to the best of your ability. If you have trouble with an assignment, by all means, let me know, so we can discuss possible solutions and alternatives.
- don't go for your RfA or accept an RfA nomination except from me - I will nominate you when I believe you are ready
Please let me know if you agree, and we can get started.
I look forward to your reply.

- I have created the page User:Sjones23/Admin coaching, from which I will coordinate the coaching. Right now, it's pretty much blank, but I'll add more to it as we go. Be sure to check on it regularly. I'll start off by asking you the standard RfA questions on the page. Best regards, King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 03:04, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
Qui
Hi. I would recommend that you get Qui, a tool that allows users to view each other's status more easily. This way, I can know when it is convenient to contact you, and vice versa. After you get it, just add me to your friends list. Note: It doesn't work very well in Internet Explorer, so if you have that, might be time to get Firefox. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:05, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Have you read my note at User:Sjones23/Admin coaching? Sorry I didn't make this clear at the beginning, but when you have read a comment of mine on any of the coaching pages, please reply to acknowledge receipt of the comment. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 15:57, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. You might want to see the new note I added to User:Sjones23/Admin coaching. (Don't forget to watchlist your admin coaching page if you haven't done so already. I general, reply to every message I add, even if your reply is just "OK I got it." This way I know that you read it.) Cheers, King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 03:30, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

GOCE November drive wrap-up
Guild of Copy Editors November 2012 backlog elimination drive wrap-up
Participation: Thanks to all who participated! Out of 38 people who signed up this drive, 33 copy-edited at least one article. Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here. All the barnstars have now been distributed. Progress report: We achieved our primary goal of clearing November and December 2011 from the backlog. For the first time since the drives began, the backlog consists only of articles tagged in the current year. The total backlog at the end of the month was 2690 articles, down from 8323 when we started out over two years ago. We completed all 56 requests outstanding before November 2012 as well as eight of those made in November. Copy Edit of the Month: Voting is now over for the October 2012 competition, and prizes have been issued. The November 2012 contest is closed for submissions and open for voting. The December 2012 contest is now open for submissions. Everyone is welcome to submit entries and to vote. Coodinator election: The six-month term for our fourth tranche of Guild coordinators will expire at the end of December. Nominations are open for the fifth tranche of coordinators, who will serve from 1 January to 30 June 2013. Heya
In an attempt to get past the impasse that has been reached re the capitalisation of I in intro on the Star Trek into Darkness article, I have created two additional sub-sections where users can put their for/against argument comments in without getting caught up in Beating a dead horse. These sections are purely for providing reasons and not for arguing back and forth, although discussions are welcome to continue in the above section. If you could come and give your view that would be great. MisterShiney ✉ 21:22, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

RE; Seasons Greetings
Thanks for the kind words. I have enjoyed working with you on Misplaced Pages, and I hope we can continue to work together in the future. (Also, I hope I didn't "rain on your parade" with my comments at WP:VG regarding making Sonic a featured topic. I just wanted to give my two cents that it might be difficult, as it seems I'm almost constantly dealing with difficult Users/IPs at articles related to Sonic - surely if you ever have, or ever do, go through my contributions on a given day, you'd probably see what I'm getting at...) A technical question about The Matrix article
Well, you added something about anchor in The Matrix article's accolade section. Out of curiosity, what does that do? What does that tag anchor the section do? I'll keep the answer for future reference; I just wanna learn. Thanks. Anthonydraco (talk) 02:50, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

- It does. Thank you. Although I cannot say I am techy enough to utilize the feature in the near future. :P I do not see any other part in the article that target here, though. Working out the details at Misplaced Pages:Today's article for improvement
The RFC for TAFI is nearing it's conclusion, and it's time to hammer out the details over at the project's talk page. There are several details of the project that would do well with wider input and participation, such as the article nomination and selection process, the amount and type of articles displayed, the implementation on the main page and other things. I would like to invite you to comment there if you continue to be interested in TAFI's development. --NickPenguin(contribs) 02:27, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
Are you familiar with Bambifan101 vandalism and talking style?
It seems that you know him, so I would like to ask you if you're familiar with his older incarnations or talking style. I do not know where he operates, so I can't check anything back then. From the list of people who report his socks on sock investigation, most users who have dealt with him more than once have retired. The current suspected sock has respond to my message. Can you take a look at and tell me what you think? Anthonydraco (talk) 11:53, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- His IP geolocates to Texas, and BF101 is from Alabama. Also BF101 has serious grammar issues with his comments. I am actually familiar with BF101 and have been reverting this user's edits for a long time along with McDoobAU93. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 16:33, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response. I believe you know this already, but I've added the link to your response to the sockpuppet investigation page; I just think I should tell you. More than one user, including me, suspect that a new user is the case. The spelling's different. Once I learned that this user's location is quite different from Bambifan101, I asked around. Gotta give this user a fair chance. Anthonydraco (talk) 23:04, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Sonic R
So, I realize it may fall outside of your scope of fixing up a lot of the "main" Sonic games, but I've recently did a lot of clean up at Sonic R. (It was pretty terrible before I started.) Just an FYI. Sergecross73 msg me 17:42, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
- That is interesting to know. By the way, I also plan to take this to GA and am willing to help out as well. A good example to follow is Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart, both of which are GAs. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 22:50, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I'll keep working on it, using those articles as reference points. Feel free to join in whenever. (No rush if you feel like working on other things you're doing right now. Progress on WP:Snuggle and work log
I've been making some progress on Snuggle development recently and I could use your feedback. Specifically, I've created a work log that I plan to update every time I get a chance to work on Snuggle. My intention is that you'll be able to watch that page to track my progress so I can get your feedback on features when they are early in development. The most recent entry (also the only entry) discusses new functionality for interacting with newcomers via Snuggle. I posted some mockups in the work log that show how I imagine the new features to work and I could use some feedback before I start writing the code. Thanks! --EpochFail 20:29, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

Doubts about Raiden (Metal Gear)
With the release of a new game with the franchise the article Raiden (Metal Gear) appears to be becoming kind of big. The creation and reception sections have big paragraphs and I can't tell if some of the part are undue weight or may require subsections and tidying to be easy to understand and navigate. Important Announcement
All right, folks. I want to make a very important announcement to everyone, including fellow editors and administrators, here at Misplaced Pages and also to those who who are watching my talk page at the moment:
First of all, due to some concerns about my involvement in the recent discussions on Niemti at WP:AN, as well as my truly unintentional involvement in the previous controversies and disputes back in August, I think it would be best for the project as a whole if I should avoid getting involved in contentious confrontations with anyone not only on Misplaced Pages, but also real life in general, and to not push things too aggressively so that the focus does not go off-topic and shift towards me. I would like to owe everyone a deep, heartfelt and sincere apology for nearly everything that I have done wrong (like getting involved in an incident where I shouldn't have been, edit warring with others, and also for losing my temper as well if I did so), and also for getting caught up into the controversy back in August against my better judgment. Truly, I am. I always have been a valuable and trusted contributor to the project for over 6 years who has made over 49,000 edits to the project (mostly to articles), and created 12 Good Articles, 11 Featured Articles, as well as 25 articles, and I have significantly improved upon several articles. But looking back at it, there are some articles that need to be updated to get to GA, as with the Sonic Shuffle article that I am doing with fellow Wikipedians Sergecross73 (talk · contribs) and ThomasO1989 (talk · contribs).
I am going to make this perfectly clear to everyone: I will absolutely never let bad things (such as old disputes and arguments with other users) get me down while being involved in this wonderful project as a volunteer. Misplaced Pages is a collaborative encyclopedia and I will not participate in a place where there are flaws in the system and where people (IPs and users alike) use it as a battleground; a soapbox; to cause disruption anywhere even on articles, on wikiprojects or on talk pages; or where people are incivil, baiting or trolling; or where an administrator can abuse protection and blocking to further their viewpoints in a content dispute. There is one word for it out in the real world: corruption. However, I will participate in a system that has a collaborative atmosphere and fairness towards all other users, and where we can find consensus through discussion on talk pages too, and ultimately becoming involved as one of the administrators by trusted users. I maintain that I always follow all policies and guidelines, including WP:HARASSMENT, WP:WIKIHOUND, WP:NOT, WP:AGF, WP:BITE, WP:CONSENSUS, WP:EW, WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA, WP:NOR, WP:NPOV and WP:V, and also maintain that I have not broken any or all of them.
Only now do I realize that I am being burned out on Misplaced Pages due to issues with some users who are unwilling to follow policies causing stress for not just me, but other regular Wikipedians, and dealing with these are really not something I signed on to do after all. As such, I have decided that I am going to start focusing a lot more on creating content for the project and collaborating with other users on other projects as well (like those in the Sonic the Hedgehog series and the Mario franchise, as well as the Final Fantasy series and anime series that I enjoy the most, like One Piece and films produced by Studio Ghibli) because getting involved in major drama over certain issues and dealing with disruptive editors/cyberstalkers/uncivil editors can emotionally and physically drain me of my energy and time contributing to the project. Also, I just realized that being involved in one of the site's civility disputes as an involved party is very depressing for me to say the least and even good editors can fall victim to the downward spiral, and I guess I must have done that too unintentionally, but I am always willing to continue editing WIkipedia no matter what. As such, I have already decided to let some of the recent ongoing disputes run its course and not attack other users, and just simply concentrate on my main focus, which has been, and will always be, creating content to the highest degree on Misplaced Pages. And finally, I will always be active on Misplaced Pages and am not planning to quit until it's the right time. I can't really talk to users who are uncivil or rude without saying something unkind. While I regret some of the things from the past, I don't ever regret the rest. I will always find the energy to be happy after all! :-) I would like to quote the words of a certain editor, "Don't lose your enthusiasm, no matter what happens!"
With that, I harbor no hatred or resentment towards anyone, even my fellow Wikipedians in particular, and once again, if I have ever done anything wrong, even once, I am very sorry... If anyone can provide me some encouraging words or help me with some articles that I am editing, that would be very much appreciated. I wish everyone a very happy Easter and Passover. I would like to thank each and every one of my fellow Wikipedians and colleagues who have supported me in the past, present and will continue to support me into the future for everything that they have done.
Best wishes to all, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 18:25, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
- Before I drop you from my Watchlist, having inadvertently added you, one helpful comment, that I am quite certain you will ignore, just as you ignore all advice from more experienced editors. Fladrif (talk) 01:06, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
WikiCup 2013 March newsletter
We are halfway through round two. Pool A sees the strongest competition, with five out of eight of its competitors scoring over 100, and Pool H is lagging, with half of its competitors yet to score. WikiCup veterans lead overall; Pool A's Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) (2010's winner) leads overall, with poolmate Miyagawa (submissions) (a finalist in 2011 and 2012) not far behind. Pool F's Casliber (submissions) (a finalist in 2010, 2011 and 2012) is in third. The top two scorers in each pool, as well as the next highest 16 scorers overall, will progress to round three at the end of April.
Today has seen a number of Easter-themed did you knows from WikiCup participants, and March has seen collaboration from contestants with WikiWomen's History Month. It's great to see the WikiCup being used as a locus of collaboration; if you know of any collaborative efforts going on, or want to start anything up, please feel free to use the WikiCup talk page to help find interested editors. As well as fostering collaboration, we're also seeing the Cup encouraging the improvement of high-importance articles through the bonus point system. Highlights from the last month include GAs on physicist Niels Bohr ( Hawkeye7 (submissions)), on the European hare ( Cwmhiraeth (submissions)), on the constellation Circinus ( Keilana (submissions) and Casliber (submissions)) and on the Third Epistle of John ( Cerebellum (submissions)). All of these subjects were covered on at least 50 Wikipedias at the beginning of the year and, subsequently, each contribution was awarded at least three times as many points as normal.
Wikipedians who enjoy friendly competition may be interested in participating in April's wikification drive. While wikifying an article is typically not considered "significant work" such that it can be claimed for WikiCup points, such gnomish work is often invaluable in keeping articles in shape, and is typically very helpful for new writers who may not be familiar with formatting norms.
A quick reminder: now, submission pages will need only a link to the article and a link to the nomination page, or, in the case of good article reviews, a link to the review only. See your submissions' page for details. This will hopefully make updating submission pages a little less tedious. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Misplaced Pages:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Misplaced Pages talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Misplaced Pages:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Re:A barnstar for you!
I'm honored. Thank you very much- I really appreciate this. To be honest, I felt like I wasn't getting any attention or notice, with a lack of barnstars, so that played into my decision to retire somewhat. However, as it stands, I am very busy and don't want to send the message that I'm slacking off from Misplaced Pages, just that I have a full plate for the next few months. I do intend to return, but it will be when I have more time for leisure activities and some certain disputes have blown over. I received a threatening email from Zhoban a week ago, listing out my personal details, (which are not too difficult to find, considering that my IMDb profile has "DarthBotto" listed as an alias), but this really emphasized that some things are just not worth the risk, you know? So in short, I'll be taking a leave of absence.
But, I will return, my friend. I truly cherish the fact that others, (namely you), find my contributions meaningful and I will keep rooting for the project! :) DarthBotto talk•cont 00:18, 01 April 2013 (UTC)
