I'll be blunt--do not issue a final warning to an account that has been attempting for several hours to clear copyright violations and promotional edits from an article. :I don't think you understand: reverting copyright violations is not edit warring, and giving another editor a final warning for doing so is grossly inappropriate--you restored copyright violation text. Again, I'd advise that you be more circumspect, and view the history of an article's edits to better comprehend context. I've asked the page be protected because of persistent copyright violations and promotional edits. Please don't continue at my talk page. White Privilege

All right, listen. I'm trying to be respectful, and all you're doing is deleting it wholesale. There's no way you could have read what I wrote in that short-span of time. Please stop this, and allow the Misplaced Pages community to see my edits, else I will be forced to go around you. 129.255.229.196 (talk) 18:23, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

I'm warning you. Do not delete my petition. 129.255.229.196 (talk) 18:26, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

So is anything negative about black people grounds for deletion, now? Come on! Don't be ridiculous! There's no vendetta. I'm merely pointing out that "White Privilege" as it is peddled in academia and in the media is a WOEFULLY overblown concept, and could as easily be renamed "Successful Privilege"...unless there already is a success privilege. This concept of "privilege" when it used to be simply the concept of "Success" breeds hatred, resentment, and animosity towards those above you, when you should respect them, and attempt to achieve what they have. I admire Bill Gates, though he's an old white man, I don't hate him. I want to have what he has. I don't think it's "privilege", I think he worked to get there, and I know if I work my butt off, I can get there, too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.255.229.196 (talk) 18:31, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

April 2013

Thank you for trying to block vandals on Misplaced Pages. However, the changes being made to the National Art Museum of Sport's website are being done to reflect current information which is also shown on the National Art Museum of Sport's home page for verification www.nationalartmuseumofsport.org. Please read the changes before deleting. There is nothing false or defamatory in them. Thank you for your help!

Kermit Gosnell

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. I notice that you removed topically-relevant content from Kermit Gosnell. However, Misplaced Pages is not censored to remove content that might be considered objectionable. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Misplaced Pages to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Safiel (talk) 18:29, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

However, this does not mean that Misplaced Pages should include material simply because it is offensive, nor does it mean that offensive content is exempted from regular inclusion guidelines. Material that could be considered vulgar, obscene or offensive should not be included unless it is treated in an encyclopedic manner. Offensive material should be used only if its omission would cause the article to be less informative, relevant, or accurate, and no equally suitable alternative is available.

Further comment

I am well aware of all the pertinent Misplaced Pages policies. However, I noted that you have only a few edits and might be a new user and might not be aware of the policies. Also, your edit summary indicated that you were removing the picture solely due to its graphic nature, which is why I left the notice regarding policy. In any event, the picture has since been removed from the article, for a validly given reason. Also, please sign your comments on talk pages by using four tildes ~~~~. Thanks. Just thought I'd apologise for my edit on the lukaku page, I am an inexperienced user who was 'experimenting' so apologies and thankyou for keeping wikipedia a great site for information and facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.172.150.187 (talk) 20:46, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Jonah Falcon

Hi! Replying to you on my recent edit to Jonah Falcon's page. I realize that 9/10 times, changing something on a wikipedia page to "penis" is a clear indicator of vandalism. However, in this case, I had been reading the page and the section's name was "wiener". I didn't think that using a colloquialism like that as a heading on an article would do much for wikipedia's credibility, so I changed it to the medical term. Can we please let this edit stand (unless you have a better idea for that subheading, in which case, be my guest.)?

User talk:209.66.192.96

Hello A.amitkumar, a quick look at the talk page history and the editor's previous edits reveals that this is an educational institution with a long history of vandalism. I've blocked them for another year. Next time, please check the history to see what it has to say; in such cases you may start off, so to speak, with a higher-level warning which will probably cut down on further disruption. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 14:33, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

Mangat clan

Adding such a large number of tags to Mangat clan is pointless. Just revert the IP. If they revert you then I'll take it to WP:3RRNB because they've had numerous warnings about the situation, explanations of blocks and edit warring and a suggestion to take it to the talk page. - Sitush (talk) 17:47, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
