Didim is a small town on the west coast of Turkey. It is a popular holiday resort. The town is located on a peninsula surrounded by Mugla and Akbuk to the east. Didim is surrounded by the Aegean Sea to the south and the Bafa Lake and Meander River to the north.
About 15 years ago, people from large cities around Turkey such as Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir first came to Didim and started to build their own summer houses, holiday homes, apartments, and villas. Property values rose dramatically.
Didim is much closer to ancient towns and natural wonders than most of the holiday resorts of Turkey.
