Markus Rosenberg (born September 22, 1982) is a Swedish footballer. As of 2005, he has played three games and scored once for the Swedish national team.

He began his playing career with Malmö FF, although he struggled to hold down a first-team place and in 2004 he was loaned to Halmstads BK. Playing for Halmstad he became the top scorer of the 2004 season. Back in Malmö, he also topped the Royal League 2004-05 scoring list.

From of the beginning of the 2005/2006 season he has played for Ajax Amsterdam. He was transferred for a fee somewhere around 5 million Euros.
